Jackie, it have been two weeks since your home going services and it is still hard to believe that your physical body is no longer with us. Your cross over to that Heavenly life was beautiful, the words that were spoken of you were heart felt. I thank you for allowing me to be part of your world and your life. I say my sister rest well and keep us in your prayers for you will always be in our heart. Love you. ( Maylene)

Jackie, I lited a candle for you, for you were a very very great person. And always were you humorous. As I think back with tears in my eyes. You were a passionate person. The love you showed for caring for the patients at EAMC even on down for making sure no one left out dry from work as you belived in cleaning the kitchen. :) I really believe they banned bleach out of the kitchen due to that bieng your best friend. The love you had for your sister, niece and nephew cause you talked about them so dearly. I recall the many of times after you left EAMC, you would call me just to say let me tell you how good God is. I was excited that your walk in christ become stronger. I can say from my heart you will be missed. And if it was possible, in heaven you would have your water hose & cholrox bleach. I lite this candle for you Jackie.

…we talked about two weeks ago and it was the first time you didn’t tell me it would be the last time we would talk. I believed I would have time to visit with you and you would get to visit with the next generation “Turner” that I would bring with me. You told me to stay in touch and I planned to do just that. You made me laugh and remember how precious this life is. I showed my little one pictures of the whole family; those with us and those who have transitioned. I taught her everyone’s name. She could pick you out on photos we looked at. We talked again and you spoke of the things you endured and survived and how thankful you were for the simple things in life. How proud you were of our family and the successes of your nieces and nephews! Yes, I could hear you making peace with this life. It was a heartwarming conversation that we shared that night and I believed you felt good. That is what was important as we disconnected our call. You felt good. Your transition from this life brought tears to my eyes and the eyes of your great-niece; she loved you although you were foreign to her. It would be selfish to ask you to stay with us for a little while longer. You survived and you felt good. THAT is what is important. We exchanged our love as aunt and niece and we separated feeling good. Time to rest, Aunt Jackie. With a heavy, heavy heart but peace-Good Night, Auntie!
