Sebrena Andrea Booker-Murray, beloved mother, daughter and sister, died peacefully of Wednesday, March 18, 2015 surrounded by her family at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX.

 

She was born in Hartford, Connecticut on December 7, 1970, daughter of Dorothy Crawley Booker and the late Ervin Booker, Jr., III. Sebrena was raised in Hartford, CT, moved to Windsor, CT in 1985 and then made her home in Dallas, TX in 1993. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with her family. Sebrena was a member of the Power in Christ Church where she was active in the Women in Ministries.

 

She was predeceased by: her father, Ervin Booker, Jr. III; a brother, Dexter Bernard Booker; grandparents, Lavonia Williams Booker, Carlton Crawley and Katie Mae (Ostoria) Greenwood; four aunts, Duane Crawley Hardrick, Shirley Lancaster, Magdalene “Maggie” Booker and Ernestine Booker ; and, one uncle, Jacob Booker.

 

Her survivors include: two sons, Carrington D’Mitri Carlton Murray and Gavyn Christian Ervin Booker; her mother, Dorothy Crawley Booker; brother, Curtis Booker and his wife Jackie; sister, Bridgette Hudson; uncles, Joshua Booker, The Honorable Oscar (Juliette) Crawley, Sr. and Ronald Crawley; aunt, Clora (Curtis) Davis; and, a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
