Taressa, born March 15, 1984, was a 2003 graduate of Valley High School and a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church.

Her survivors include: her father, Blake (Brenda Barnes) Fears; her mother, Saundra Floyd; grandmother, Mary Lizzie Fears; five sisters, Metitia (Arthur) Young, Shemicka Fears, Kimberly Fears, Shaka Cummings and Carleka (Roderick) Edmonson; one brother, Emmanuel Lynch; and, a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, neices other loving relatives and friends.
