Muriel was Cofounder of the MCC/Mindfulness Care Center, where she became the elder of a community she helped create.  Muriel expressed to a number of her close friends and family of finding a happiness in her life that she never expected to find.

Muriel taught us all to never give up on oneself and that we can always keep growing and learning.

She was a kind and generous woman of great heart and spirit, touching many people even when she did not know this.  In the last 8/9 years of life Muriel found her place and her voice in supporting others from a kindness and compassion within that was beyond the intellect.

Muriel had a wonderful tenancity and strength finding a trust within herself that led her in these later years to step into new challenges and changes that created her cherished life and friendships.

Muriel's early life was troubled though by helping others through supporting the formation of the MCC she gained and realized a deep joy inside that brought a warm beautiful smile to all that knew her.

Many people were graced by what Muriel brought forth.  Her legacy will continue to grow to all those she embraced in these twilight years of her life!
