Terry you forgot to add one of Dad's saying's that I still use today, Tim would come home and always have a story and he would always Exaggerate the truth and make the story more of a story then the truth!
Dad would always say TIMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!
And Tim still does it to this day!!

Hey Dad. I saw a AGP vehicle the other day and thought about you and all the different jobs you've had. From Cooper & Beatty, to the Government one, the locksmith one, the security one, to Ashley Gilbert!! All to keep us with a roof over our heads and food on the table...always!!! Love ya Dad!!

Dad wrote some good little songs which made us laugh when he sang them. Only a few of us will know the context and humor of them....See if you remember...

"Gay isn't gay because he's going out the door" lol

"Burlington Burt, take off your shirt and put it in here"

and then some special names and words like
Quipples, Big Quip,  Boobauf, Critters, Big Gopa, Imbecile, Lunatic, Shawny-bug, The Beep Beep, pooping bum, The Persuader, Raja's Lookout, Kids a Gomer, stoogatsa, Mishy Moo Moo and  the kids touched in the head Sandra, that's why.... etc lol

When I was still a kid about 10 or 11 years old at the old Simpsons store at Cedarbrae Mall I had tried stealing something tucked under my shirt and as I walked out I was grabbed and caught by a store detective. They took me to a back room to call my parents but I lied and gave them the wrong phone number to avoid getting caught ??? lol
Through the open doorway of the room I suddenly saw Dad in line to cash his paycheck (I think in them days) and he saw me. He came in and heard what happened and took me home. He never said a word or disciplined me thinking I was scared enough to have learned my lesson which I did because I never stole again. lol
I also did something once at Towers and ran across the road and got hit by a car and got up off the ground and ran in the apartment and slammed the door and told dad not to answer the door because salesmen and Johovas Witness were coming. People who hit me followed me and were banging on the door to see if I was alright and I stood against the door blocking it begging Dad not to answer. lol

When I was very small. maybe before Tim and Chris were even born, Dad worked at a place called Cooper and Beatty if I remember the name correctly. One Christmas morning I woke up to find that Dad had come home from the night shift and in the wee hours of the morning had set up an big display of toy soldiers for me. There were 2 army's charging each other and it seemed like dozens of soldiers all over the living room rug. I played with them for hours.

Living at 20 Greencrest in the mid 70's there was a small grassy area to the right of the driveway which we would cut across to go to the store for chips and pop for Dad. One day Tim found what looked like a small crayfish claw and showed it to dad and asked what it was. Dad told Tim it was a "pooping bum". Never did we know at the time we would laugh and talk about it for decades after.

They may have stopped for you Jackie and Diane, but they continued on with us:) I miss him dearly and would never change anything for the world. Even all the groundings and punishments I got:)

I was so proud of you when i was growing up, and that never stopped..You were the best brother anyone could have,, I was so thankful to have you .Murray was always full of fun and life.He used to walk to the Golden Mile or go with walks with Mom,That was mother and son time and we wern't alowed to tag along just the two of them.He used to play pranks on us and laugh like crazy after. although Diane got it worse. i guess because she was older,, just fun stuff... As he got older Sandy came along and was the love of his life right up until God called him home..Diane and i were glad when he met Sandy because he was so busy with her,, that the pranks stopped a bit.Mom and Dad were so proud of him He was a wonderful son to them..great brother,great husband,,and wonderful father to his sons,,You were taken fr us too young,You are always in my heart I miss you so much..but i am so proud to call you my brother .
