My one Grandpa, how unfortunate you died the year my little sister was born and a day before my elder sister's birthday, and I was just four years of age.

I remember so much the day you died, we just prayed Isha, and we passed my step grandmother's staircase because it was a faster route, and then my uncle didn't let us come in, we wondered why but we just headed for grandma's room.

The next day my sister couldn't eat because of your death, and she just clocked 8 because she is October 6, and of all your grandchildren she has the freshest memories of you sir.

At times I think if you didn't pass away I would be the luckiest grandchild on Earth but ALLAH took you, and all I can say is INNAA LILLAHI WA INNAA ILAYHI RAAJIUN.
