Though, we your family called you Brother but you always play a role of Father to everyone. I thought by the time i will come to Nigeria that i will still see you on the land of living BUT nature says NO. I remember when you come in at that time when Mama Jossy was alive, you always make her happy and even every sibling are all always proud of you that we have you as a brother to boast of. Brother, we all loves you in the family but God's loves you more. I pray that your good work on earth will follow you and speak for you in the presence of your maker. Amen

Tribute on Honorable Muyiwa Adesanya.

Olu! as I fondly called you,it is really hard to say goodbye to you, because we have been together since our days in COSTECH,that is almost 40 year ago. Olu, your departure has left a painful void that will be difficult to fill. It is indeed a rude shock to me but I take solace in God that you are in a better place. You were a soldier,a brave man you fought a good fight but its painful you had to go. Sleep well my brother,a bosom friend, till we meet to part no more.

It is still unbelievable to me that you have departed from us after all you had done to deserve a long life. But at last God loves you more than us. I would forever love, cherish and respect you dad. I guess the phrase you only live once applied to you because you lived life to the max. I would miss all our pillow talks we used to have. We depart to see no more but you will be greatly missed by me and other members of the family. I LOVE YOU DAD

Receiving the news of your death made me numb, i wish it was a dream i would wake up from not until i saw your body lie lifeless. I wish we got more time to create the father-daughter memories, i wish you stayed a little longer to reap the fruits of your labour. I know you've gone to a better place of rest. Rest on Dad.

It was exactly 4.40am while eating "suhoor" when I got an usual phone call from my mum crying that brother as she fondly calls you, had passed,I was shakened knowing how close you were, most people don't know I was your first baby from calabar and bida - Minna days, I was the first to meet all your old friends in the late eighties, to you taking me out, to my university days, every Fridays to collect weekend stipends while you were acting chairman ikorodu local government, The rest they say is history, you have definitely left a vacuum that cant be filled..may the heaven's light up for you in more ways than you lit up the life of your loved ones..Rest on Big Daddy, Rest on Daddy Egbeda, Rest on CHAIRMAN !!!!

My eyes filled up with tears as I heard the news.
I find myself wishing that it wasn't real.
Every time I think about it, pain is all I can feel.
But my heart tells me that he'll always be with me.
I'm glad he feels no pain now; he lives in a perfect land.
I can still feel the soft touch on my shoulder of his loving hand.
I lie in bed and cry at night,
I will love and miss him forever,
Until the day we are again together.
Together in that perfect place above,
Filled with caring, sharing, and love,
But until that day comes--I will wipe my tears away
And hope to see him again someday.
Goodnight Egbon
Your cousin

My dear Brother now that you are gone
You’re no longer here to share
The bond we had together
A bond of love and care.
Yet, somehow something tells me
You are watching over Us.
You finally are free.
I miss you so very much,
And my tears, I cannot hide
Yet, within my heart, I feel
You are always by my side.
Ever since you went away
Life has never been the same
Yet, it comforts me to know
That one day we’ll meet again
Keep Resting Egbon Mi .

Dear brother, day by day, I think of you. How can all of this be true? I can't believe you're really gone; I still can't accept it. Just the thought of your absence makes me cry.
I never even got the chance to say goodbye.

I don't know if it will ever get better. I always smell your familiar scent. It makes me think of all of the times we've spent after the death of our parents. You took the position of our late parents in our lives.

So many things I never got to say. I never imagined you'd ever be so far away. Your promises of family reunion never materialize.
You were my brother,
And I loved you like no other.. In my heart you'll always be;

I'll never forget your soothing voice.

I miss you with all of my heart and will forever miss you. I wish we never had to part.
I know you're in a better place where there's no sorrow, pain or gnashing of teeth
So now I guess this is my goodbye...

Rest in Peace Olumuyiwa Adesanya. Omo Imota Ayayo, omo eluku medenmeden, omo imale afeleja. Omo asaniporikiporiki ese. Omo akenugbo keru o bara ona. Omo Obaowo Obasile, omo oleyilubara ko Ijeun aaro, omo dudu ile o mo bese, pupa e ba se lo ajo.

Dear brother, you went away so suddenly
We did not say goodbye to each other
But brothers can never be parted
Precious memories never die.
You will forever be missed.
Sleep on my dearest brother.

Death where is thy sting!

Shared by Emmanuel Oguntoke on April 24, 2021
I can't believe it is true until I saw you at the morgue, we are still in the celebration of your birthday until death struck.
Yes, you are gone but your memory will keep us strong.
You live a fulfil life though very short but God knows why.
Keep resting my brother from all the trouble of the world.
We are comforted that we will meet at Jesus feet where we will part no more. Keep resting until resurrection day.
