Her Life

Our Mother---Our Love

February 5, 2019

Born to Anna and Pat Morrissey, she was the baby of five siblings! She was always larger than life even though she was an itty bitty lil thing! She was a very determined woman who worked hard for her family! She had a difficult time when times started advancing. Such as those new fangled computers. She used to say " I'm not using those darn things! I'm gonna keep on using my typewriter!" and that she did! She always fussed at me for being on the computer! Mom loved her family and always prayed that God would protect us and keep us safe! There is nothing in this world more precious than a Mother that prays for her children! And lord knows I NEEDED ALL OF THEM!!!! I'm just so thankful that I got my life together and made her proud again! She loved her grandchildren and her great grandchildren emmensly! She loved football and was a true diehard Saints fan! She longed every day to be back in the arms of the man who was the love of her life! And now they are together ...dancing again! With her glorious body, she is now in the loving arms of Jesus! Although she will be dearly missed, she is forever loved by those of us she left behind! Fly high my sweet angel! Till we meet again!

I will always remember going to her house on Annunciation St to watch the St Patrick's Day Parade and having such a great time. I know she will be missed.
