It's your 13th death anniversary yesterday, I'm sorry if I couldnt visit you yesterday, I want to keep your memories alive with us and hope that wherever you are, you are happy, carefree and loved.

Mum, it's been 12 years of your death anniversary. Time passes and there are so many milestones in our lives that I wish I could share with you personally: our marriages, the birth of your grandchild, our first dog, the highs and lows of our lives. Sometimes, when we gathered for birthday celebrations etc, I thought poignantly how nice it will be if you'll here with us, celebrating and marking the important and happy moments of our lives and we could create these fond memories together as a family. Gone too soon but you will live forever in our lives. I believe one day, we will reunite and meet again, till that monumental day comes, you will always be a part of us, the distant past to the future. It has been nothing short of a blessing, a god's gift and anointing to be your daughter on earth and eternally in heaven. If it's not for you, I believe I wouldn't have made it so far. Till we meet, we will rekindle the lost moments together, I promise. You held the family together in times of crisis and you were always that trusty confidante with innate wisdom and judgment under testing conditions. There were times when you were upset, stressed and helpless but you will never fail to greet us in the morning, restore to your stoic self and go about your daily routines to bring us forward.

Wishing you eternal happiness, peace and protection in the house of god! I love you Mum!

I recalled the last mum day celebration was in 2008. I was late from a company's mother day celebration and didnt know you were waiting for me to come back and celebrate it with you..
You forgave me quickly, like you usual self, and heated up the leftover food that ive bought home from the event and we chatted happily about the crepe flower making event... little did i know it will be our last mum day together....and you fell seriously ill right after...
