Nancy C. Hocknell 83, of Pennsville, NJ died November 26, 2023 peacefully at her home surrounded by her family after a long and courageous battle with Dementia. She was born on July 9, 1940 to the late Carl Crispin and Vivian Ricketts Crispin.
Nancy was a 1960 graduate of Pennsville Memorial High School. She was a long time employee of the Ames Department Store and retired in 2002 as Assistant Manager. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pedricktown, NJ. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She loved bass fishing, painting and doing puzzles in her spare time. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to see lighthouses up and down the east coast. She was also a collector of all types of bears and crystal.
She is predeceased by her husband Arthur P. Hocknell, her siblings Carl Crispin Jr., James Jehu Crispin and Larry D. Crispin.
She is survived by her 3 children Lori Tomlin (Vernon), Kenneth Troupe (Dawn), Steven Troupe (Dawn). Also survived by her grandchildren Krystel Bracelly, Kasie Troupe (Emory), Tyler Tomlin, Jessica Troupe, great grandchildren Emory 4th, Abel, Asher, Mia, her sister Pam Golt (Gene), many nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog Hyde.
The family would like to thank Bayada Hospice for all of their help and comfort during this time, they all went above and beyond our expectations.
