Nancy was one of the fiercest, feistiest, most thoughtful and caring educators I have ever known, and I am a better advocate having known her. Lots of admiration and sadness in my heart for her.

Happy heavenly birthday Nancy. I’ve been looking at a text that we exchanged on your birthday in 2020 and it sure brings back memories. Love and miss you much.

Ms. IVY, you were a wonderful teacher to me the years I had you. Always checked on me through highschool. You always viewed my ig stories and liked all my pictures. I wish I can tell you I became a preschool teacher myself. May your kindness and wisdom you shared continue to shine through thows people you impacted.

Thank You For Being You!

I remember when you first pulled me aside into your wood shop side of your classroom and checked me for nearly failing and since then your words were always inspiring and motivating enough to keep me alive and moving forward through obstacles I faced. I Thank you!  I miss you and will see you again someday. Happy Birfday!

Morning twenty plus years ago, camping at San Antonio Lake, I was cooking the bacon. She walked by looking at me with an amused forgiving grin, "Who burned the bacon?" Later I admired her taking a long free style swim in a well fitted gray swim suit, her two dogs paddling trying to keep up.

RHS Teacher and Administrator

February 12, 2021
Mrs. Ivey, supported students at RHS as a Teacher and Administrator. She work to ensure students felt welcomed and was an adult students could count on.  Also, she mentored new teachers by sharing her knowledge openly.

Thank you Mrs. Ive
