Naomi Susan Mazzeo (née Goldberg) passed away peacefully in hospice on January 11, 2024 after a 3 year long battle with cancer. She was 53.
She is survived by her husband Robert, children Sofia, Samuel and Emma, mother Lorraine Goldberg (née Freedman), sister Rachel Goldberg Jacobsen, and brother Adam Goldberg.
Naomi was born in Pontiac Michigan to Lorraine and the late Stanleigh Goldberg. She was an alumnus of West Bloomfield High School (Michigan), Purdue University, and Oregon State University.
Most recently, Naomi worked at Tyson Foods as a Technical Service Manager and excelled in her position. She was deeply admired for her dedication and contributions to the plant processes. Naomi’s co-workers remember her contagious smile, frequent spirited laughter, and treasured friendship.
Naomi always had a positive outlook on life, took pride in her children, her work, and her family. She was a kind, gentle and generous woman who lived her life with joy until the very end, and while her passing leaves a great empty hole in the world, she remains forever alive in the hearts of her family, friends and acquaintances.
A celebration of Naomi’s life will be scheduled in the near future. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society or Samaritan Hospice in South Jersey.

My mom was a wonderful person, she lived her life with so much joy and everyone loved her so much. She is missed so much, and I know she's watching over our family from heaven.

Naomi (Naomes we called her at work) she was a bright spot of the day when she came to work with us! She split time between plants, but it was always a good day when she was there. She was my cubical mate..side by side...she was the kindest, caring, giving soul! She possessed this powerful, boisterous laugh and her smile lit up her whole face. Work won't be the same. Heaven gained a Beautiful Angel! Until we meet again, my dear friend. You are missed immensely!
