Dear Nanima, there is so much that I wish I could say to you … but one thing is for sure, you have given me the BEST example of how to be a great mom, wife, and human. You and Nanupapa truly gave me some of my favourite memories and experiences that have shaped who I am today.
I keep hearing you sing - “Kinna sohna tenu Rab nay banayaa, dil karay vekhdi rawaan” and seeing your beautiful smile. Since my childhood, you sang me this song and continued to sing it during one of our last talks. This always made me feel like the most special girl in the world. Your praises and motivational words always made me feel so blessed and thankful for everything that I have - you instilled that same confidence in me that you did for Mama, Massi, and Mamaji.
I was amazed to see how you put in 150% in all of your relations. You were always helpful no matter the situation - providing wisdom, support and offering a cheerful story or joke that could instantly lift spirits. You taught us the value of family and the importance of honouring relationships by appreciating each other's uniqueness. You had a flawless way of teaching us lessons through creative stories and analogies. You were an elegant and diplomatic woman, but also had a mischievous, fun, and extremely competitive side that we often saw while playing cards.
The saying “Good de bache Good” is very accurate. Thank you so much for raising Mama the way you did - because of you, I have a wonderful upbringing and an amazing mother. Your way of thinking and your way of doing has been passed down to us from our parents, and that is how I know you will always be here with us. My dear Nanima, you gave this world so much warmth and joy, and I was lucky to be a part of it.
I will always be your princess and hope to be as wonderful of a Queen as you were. For now, you enjoy your time with Nanu and we can chit chat later :)
I love you ❤️
