When I found out I was pregnant again it was quite shocking because I was 43 about to be 44 years old. I had problems in my pregnancy early on... I started out with a Subchorionic hemorrhage with two tears at 8 weeks pregnant. Then at my 13 week scan I was told that she had Cystic Hygroma. From there I was tested positive for Down Syndrome by taking a Maternity 21 blood test that also told me she was a girl. I was scared every night. I prayed so much for God's healing. On Thursday I went to her ECO Cardiogram scan to see if her heart was developing at 21 weeks. That's when I heard the worst six words of my life. "I'm sorry there is no heartbeat." I am on blood thinner shots twice a day for precautionionary reasons from a blood clot on my lung last year, so I had to stop the shots and wait until the next day. I was induced at 10:30 am and had her at 1:19 pm. I cried so much, took lots of pictures and sang and rocked her in a chair until 10 pm. I went home devastated and empty. My world is shattered! The next day, my husband and I went to the funeral home and signed paperwork for her cremation. I was happy, because I got to see her once more there. We ordered a beautiful urn that came last Thursday. The funeral home brought her ashes home and put them in her urn on Friday.
