This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Nazario C. Santos, 86, born on November 27, 1925 and passed away on January 4, 2012. We will remember him forever. For the family and friends of Nazario C. Santos, he will always hold a special place in our hearts. Rest in peace dear Grandpa, we love you and we will truly miss your presence. Although you are gone now, we know your spirit is around us.

A true hero.. May you rest in peace. We salute you...

November 27, 1925 - January 4, 2012

God saw that you were getting tired, and a cure was not to be.

So He put His arms around you, and whispered "Come with Me."

With tearful eyes we watched you suffer, and saw your life fade away.

Although we love you dearly, we know we could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating; hard working hands to rest.

God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.

This goes out to all the Veterans, the fallen heroes, our soldiers who served...Thank you.. You are truly appreciated for all you do.. just want you to know that.

Grandpa, Lolo Sario, it's already 2024. You are always in my thoughts and prayers. I always miss you and Lola Kaye very much. Your guys' memories will forever live with me till I grow up. I am now 42 Lolo, and you have a handson grandson named Michael Blade, the cutest and smartest boy that I know. I wish you guys could've met him but I know you and Lola Kaye are shining down from heaven watching and guiding us always. Till we all meet again in heaven. I love you both from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for raising me when I was a baby till I turned to be in my mid-20s, I will never forget both of you guys. You and Lola Kaye were the best of the BEST.

So many unfinished things that he wanted to do before he died....

January 30
When my grandpa was already in the hospital, that's in Paradise Valley Hospital, here in National City, he would always tell me to take him out of the hospital, he hates the hospital so much, because of what happened to my grandma. He said that he still had to do so many unfinished business that he didn't get to do. I know it had to do with his benefits and getting what his comrades deserve when they fought in WWII. Don't worry Lolo Sario, your hard work is appreciated and the way you fought for your rights will never be forgotten. You are my hero Lolo Sario, we love you and miss you so much!

Family Day Cruise on USS Lake Champlain 2009

January 6, 2012

Here's grandpa aboard USS Lake Champlain on a family day cruise, he absolutely loved it that day... I've never seen him so happy. Of course he would love this kind of stuff, because it's what we would know as patriotic. Anyway, two years later, little did we know his life would end. I miss him very much...

Grandpa and Grandma (Lolo and Lola - In Tagalog)

January 6, 2012

This picture was taken at a house in a street I remembered called Sunnyside St. - we were just renting out this house and it was okay for awhile. We didn't end up staying too long here, I forgot why though. My grandpa and my grandma were inseparable and they loved each other very much. I told my grandma to look the other way, so that the picture looked like a stolen shot, and it eventually did - so I thought this was funny.. I miss them both very much, but I know they are now re-united in Heaven.. I hope to be with you two also! Not now, but later down in life when God is ready to take me. I love you both --- very very very much....
