Yet another year has passed. I still cry over missing you. I know you wouldn't want me to be this unhappy, but I can't help it. You were the best person I ever knew. I thought yesterday was the 24th and I woke up at 4:55am, the second you stopped breathing. Then I realized it wasn't the 24th. But you know me....I was never good at being on time. I love you Daddy. Forever.

Can you believe that Brody still wags his tail when I say, "Grandad." I am so glad you got to meet him and he you and that you got to spend 11 days knowing each other. <3

Today would have been your 98th birthday. I try to imagine you on a cruise in the South Pacific showing Mama all the places you saw in WWII. I still miss you more than words can say. So many have followed you since you left and I know you are there to welcome them and show them around. I know your birthday will be awesome, but I wish I could be with you. You are so loved. <3

Daddy, I can't believe it's been two years since I have seen your beautiful face. I miss you more than you can possibly know.
