Amazing truck driver

March 22, 2016

Neil was the most amazing truck driver I ever had the honor to drive with. The many talents this man had just added to his gift to drive a rig. The years that he and I were driving were memorable to say the least. He always said that he wanted to own his own truck and well, Neil, you did it baby. We would get such compliments on it from other drivers in the middle of truck stops. He never gave up on his dream of driving the I-10 corridor and being able to drive a sleeper truck. He was so in awe of the vast types of rigs out there. I remember many times where I never in a million years, could get the rig into a certain spot, yet Neil would get behind the wheel and there it was. He just had such a talent. And such modesty. He would jokingly say "who's the man", yet never truly believed in himself as being wonderful.

Loving father

Neil's boys, Anthony (Tony) and Kevin were his life. He loved them so much and would do anything to make sure they were healthy and happy. He worried about them all the time, but knew they would be great men. He was so proud to be there father. Whenever they would come over he would drop anything he ws doing to spend as much time he could with them.

Awesome husband

March 13, 2016

Neil was the most caring, thoughtful, generous, and loving man I was blessed to have come into my life. The last day we were together he had been up for 24 hours trying to get home to me. I saw him briefly on the way home and he looked so wonderful. I had a rather tough day at work, but we had planned on going out for a date. We decided to just get Chinese and stay at home. It didn't matter where I was. I was always so happy as long as he was by my side. I arrived home with Chinese and walked into the bedroom with him to get changed only to find our bathroom changed into a getaway oasis. He had candles burning around the bathtub, strawberries fresh from California, bubbles flowing and champagne chilling with two sparkling champagne glasses. I was blown away. Our last few hours together were the most wonderful minutes I could have ever wanted with my husband. He was tired, but thought of me and wanted to make it special. It so was. I love you so much, Neil. Thank you for being my husband, my best friend, my love and my life. When you left us, a piece of my heart left with you.
