Nycruz passed away today from COVID-19. My brother had loved to travel and work at Screen Gems Studio in Wilmington, North Carolina. He ended his career as a special effects coordinator/supervisor which included the TV series One Tree Hill, Dawson's Creek, Under the Dome and movies, The Secret Lives of Bees, Good Behavior, The Crow, The Choice as well as several commercials. He also had his own business called Elements of Effects which provides equipment for projects with special effects needs. He will be remembered for his warm and generous personality, sense of humor, and willingness to offer help whenever needed.
