You are missed so much "Aunt" Nellie. I have never missed you more than at the family reunion. You certainly were there in spirit. I miss your frequent telephone concerning everyone's health. You could always make me feel better by your uplifitng voice.
Happy 83rd birthday. I hope you are at the head of the table with all your favorite foods. You deserve it; you were one in a million.      Love, Joe

I saw Mrs. Boone at Quality Drugs one day not long ago. When I told her who I was and that I was a friend of Tara's and knew Judy from high school, that sweet little face lit up like a light! It was evident that she loved her children, grand-children and great grand-children so much. She had the kindest voice and sweetest smile and expression on her face every time I saw her. She was a very special lady and will truly be missed!! R.I.P Mrs. Boone!

The loss of "Aunt" Nellie means that Heaven has gained a wonderful and caring lady. She never forgot a birthday, anniversary, or any special occasion with at least a card. Her concern for others shown through like the light of this candle. While I was in rehab for about two months, it was rare that "Aunt" Nellie did not call me every night. If she missed a night, she apologized the next time she called. I regret that I never saw her again to thank her. She was looking after me like a guardian angel. I am sorry that I could not be there, but I don't get around too well. Love and deepest sympathy to all.

Nellie was a wonderful and special person. She always had a smile and something nice to say to Bill and I each time we saw her at church. She worked with my Mom before my Mom's death and after she realized who I was it was a special bond. My mother loved her and she spoke so highly of my Mom, which means the world to me. Nellie, I know you are dancing and looking down on the loved ones here. We will miss YOU!!

What will we do without our Nellie? She kept us informed on all our family and friends in NC. Oh how we love Nellie and Curtis. Life won't be the same without her wonderful letters and phone calls when we each talked and bragged about our grandchildren. We had such nice visits when we could get to Butner. She will be greatly missed, but the love will never fade. Prayers to all the family. Love you all.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Boone family. Nellie was a special woman and loved by all who knew her. My Mom worked with her for many years and thought the world of her. God be with you all during this difficult time.
