7 years have gone so fast. Jayden will be 15 this month, Kyla (11) & Kali (7) ...your babies are not babies anymore, Nick. ♡ They have grown into some of the most loving, little souls I've ever known and I see you in them more and more each day!

I can not imagine life without these 3 precious little gifts God has blessed us with. I know you are so proud of them and I pray they remember that always. Here's to another season and may the LORD grant us the strength to carry on

To see such a young little being understand so much - and know that her Daddy is in Heaven with God and he is an angel is almost too much for me to handle as a Mother.  While Kali gave her Daddy flowers and the special rock - she spoke to him as if he was right there... and looked up to the sky while she was speaking. <3  Thank you Lord for continuing to give us strength.

I got a new dirt bike from dad on my kindergarden graduation at the age of 6 and here he's teaching me how to work it. Whiped out a couple of times but when your as strong as your dad it doesn't hurt. I miss u dad and love u!

...the four of us decided to go fishing on Hayes Lake in a CANOE!!  it was was so much fun!!  Jayden & Kyla caught so many fish, they were just so excited ... Jayden caught the biggest fish (Northern) and Kyla caught the biggest sunny!!

We all went walking to the school playground... and this picture was just begging to be taken. I love it.

We were just hanging out in the park and Jayden wanted to take some pictures!  He directed us were to go and stand and he was our PRO photographer... the kids love taking pictures, they always have so much fun with it!  xoxo

We went to a tiny little lake one day and fish for tiny little fish... hehe... it was a lot of fun to see the bottom of the lake.  -but it was a bit weird too.  I think Nick caught the only fish... perhaps we were too accustomed to the big hitting Walleye?!   ... it was a lot of fun just spending the day together on the ICE.  xoxo

...Christmas 2008.. spent in Fargo!  Nick didn't want us to be traveling when we were SOO close to Kali's arrival...in case of an early arrival!  xoxo  It was a lot of fun and now means A LOT  to have had our family  with us on our last Christmas together.

Enjoying some time with Kali ..Farming!! hehe.. Facebook phase...With our Farms!  We had so much fun with that... Kali loved looking at all the animals :)  Sometimes we would plug the computer into the TV so she could see them really good.  xoxo

We had so much fun hosting our first Christmas Party!  We all dressed up like santa, elves, reindeer...and all that fun stuff!  Nick and I made sugar cookies and frosted them, and a ton of fun food!  xoxo He was always coming up with good, fun ideas to get all of our friends together.

...This pic reminds me of Nick cutting his hair a few days before this picture... by himself in the garage.  He usually had me help him out ..especially in the back - I came out to the garage to check it out, and well, we ended up shaving it down to almost nothing.  oh hunnie. xoxo LOVE YOU! <3

This was a very fun time... Our cheeks hurt from laughing & smiling so much that day!  Nick had to carry me around and let me dance on his shoes because my feet were so SORE from wearing 5 inch stilettos all day and night.  He was such a sweetheart, my sweetheart. Miss him so much, with all of my heart. <3

Nick wanted to treat us to a Weekend Get Away from the city.  He invited his parents along as well.  We stayed at the Rod & Reel Resort and had such an amazing time.  We spent the weekend fishing, boating, soaking up the sun, playing card games and enjoying each others' company.  I am so glad we have those great memories from an once in a lifetime trip!!

This was an amazing day in September at Hayes Lake.  It was Kali's first trip to the beach, it was the first time she felt sand between her toes and she had her Daddy there holding her hand the whole time.  He will always be there holding her hand, always and forever.

Hunting was something he always looked forward to. It was such a special bond that his dad and brother had together.

This was the weekend of Jayden's Birthday!  We went to Beltrami and hunted for birds & squirels... it was a very good day.  We roasted hot dogs over the fire and had a nice, long walk through the calming wilderness. 

On the way back to the truck, Nick & I were walking together when he got one... we made a flag and put it in the road next to the bird for Jayden & Kyla to pick up! (who were following a ways behind with Papa, hunting) They loved it. 

We always had so much fun and will remember it always!

This is what you would see about 99% of the time with Nick!  He was such a happy man & loved our life!  In this picture we were visiting friends in Southern Minnesota.  He was playing in the pool with Jayden & Kyla and their new little buddies ... it was truly an awesome day.

This was one of our first camping trips with the little ones!  It was such a blast, we did so many fun things!  We taught ourselves how to cook corn cobs, potatoes, carrots, and beans on the open fire! 

I love this picture because the sun rays are shinning down right on Nick! xoxo He will always be near us watching and it is an amazing feeling. 

All the kids helped Daddy put together the new table when we moved into our new house... they loved helping him with anything & everything!

We weren't able to take this ourselves on our honeymoon so...our friends Brian & Teresa took this for us while they lived in Hawaii.  xoxo

I look at the picture every day and i can't help but think this must be what Heaven will be like.
