Nicky I haven’t been hunting since I got the word you were gone. I haven’t had the heart to go. I have a 12yr who texts me every day wanting to know if I’m hunting and I try tell him but he he is to young to understand. I saw him at church yesterday and it did my heart good. We talked about him hunting and his mama killing her first big hog that morning. I told I might try and go hunting this week. I thought about it last night and my favorite number is 7 so I thought to myself since tomorrow is the 7th my favorite number and you wouldn’t want me to give up on hunting which I wasn’t giving up just wasn’t ready and still wasn’t sure I was ready until I got in the woods and it got quite And I remember why I hunt. It wasn’t for the biggest horns or bragging rights it was for the meat the deer I kill provide me because I know the meat in grocery stores aren’t good for us. I remember when you heard I started hunting you couldn’t believe it because I was always tender hearted and love animals and still I do. I just realize Killing your own food is better for you and I have Donnie and you to Thank For that big brother. I hate we never got to hunt together. I just got this mount back yesterday and I didn’t get a chance to show you. It’s not a big rack but a odd rack the deer weighed about 150 lbs. He provided plenty of meat for the freezer. I say he’s a 5pt but Donnie says if you can put a ring on the other point and it don’t fall it’s 6pt.So I guess it’s a 6pt. I hate you didn’t get to see my pics.
