Dear Hynes family,
I am someone from the village of Woods Hole that cherishes the memories I will always have of Mrs. Hynes. Nicole always spoke to me as though we were long time friends even though we were really only acquaintances She was very kind to me when I oversaw the Quissett Ball one year. Nicole invited me to her garden out on Penzance to cut flowers for the event.  I carefully cut a few flowers from the garden areas she had pointed to and then found her coming up behind me with her own clippers to encourage me to cut more. "Don't be so shy about cutting away at all these beautiful flowers." I will never forgot her generosity and fun attitude about sharing her garden with everyone attending the Quissett Ball that year.  Our community is also thankful for her caring work and support of the Children's School of Science for so many years. Our grandchildren have certainly benefited from all the work she did to keep the the school healthy and strong for future generations.

She will be forever missed and respected by the Woods Hole Community.

Dear Thomas, Vanessa, Tod and Elizabeth,

It with great sorry that I learn on Friday, via Frank Doyle, the departure of Nicole from this world.

Since the departure of Jacques Delava, I lost contact with the Delava family from Charleroi.

My sister Isabelle, new Nicolle better then I, since they spend time together when both were young girls in a vacation in Switzerland. At that time, I was just a little boy in the way of the big girls.

Since I started to go to Charleroi for Roges’ birthday in October, then the age difference was not a barrier, I discover the wonderful and special person that Nicole was.

I remember the dinner we had a Sunday night in a hotel downtown Boston, Nicole, Thomas, Simone and me, where we spoil for Thomas and Nicolle end of day in Cab Cob in a lovely September day.

A few year later we spend a lovey weekend at Nicole and Thomas home where we meet Vanessa and small Thomas Taylor which now must be a grown-up boy. On Sunday, we meet Tod and Elisabeth, then pregnant and we had dinner in the Golf Club in a big table, commemorating Thomas Birthday’s and my daughter Stephanie join us.

I have no words to express my depth sentiment to all members of the family, specially to Thomas, on the departure of such a lovely person as Nicole.
