Her Life
May 21, 2014

Mrs. Bussey was born in Heard County, Georgia on June 28, 1917, the daughter of the late Maudie Mae Street Adams and Ancie C. Adams. She was a faithful member of the Centralhatchee First Baptist Church where she had the distinct honor of being the oldest member. In her younger years she was employed by Heard County Memorial Hospital where she served as a laundress. She was retired from Heard County High School where she served as a dietician. Her love for the children and contagious smile made her a favorite with the students she served. Never afraid of hard work she then dedicated herself for 22 additional years to preparing nourishing meals for the campers at the Rockridge Baptist Assembly. She was a loving mother to nine wonderful children and loved to have a crowd to prepare wonderful meals for and enjoyed the company. Never idle, she spent hours working in her beautiful flower beds and loved fishing. On the rare occasion when she found herself still and at home she loved working puzzles. Mrs. Nina never met a stranger and had a loving spirit for all she knew. Her long life was spent doing for others. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by three daughters, Dianne McCormick (James) of Ranburn, AL., Janice Smith( Everett) also of Ranburn, AL., and Susan Patterson (Clyde) of Woodland, AL.; six sons, Tillman Bussey (Beth) of Cedartown, GA., Johnny Bussey , Jerry Bussey , Randy Bussey, and Robby Bussey (Lana) all of Franklin, GA., and David Bussey of Villa Rica, GA.; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Robert Bussey.

Flowers will be accepted, however those who wish may make donations to the Centralhatchee First Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
