Birthday Celebrations

November 9, 2014

we always shared Birthdays. just another special time.

"One of my greatest memories is being there for the passing of her Mom. I had lost my Mom too so I knew what she was going thru. We cried from saddness and laughed about all the memories, so blessed we shared this difficult time and I was able to give her strength, love and support."

Very, very special indeed!

Love you Neen

Honored and Grateful to Be One of Her Teachers

November 5, 2014

I will never forget the night I had completed a workshop and Nina introduced herself to me and said, "I have been looking for a teacher and you are it!" I was pleasantly surprised and replied, "I am honored and grateful to serve you."

I will also never forget when Nina and I made 4 videos each, in which we  presented HART processes, to help even more people on the internet. That day in my office was an adventure for both of us.

Nina was always wanting to grow, and she was a great student with the pure intention to help people in the best way that she could. It was especially exciting to share with a fellow Marriage and Family Therapist the HART therapy I had developed.

I was thrilled when Susan Lehman and Nina, as well as others, connected at my classes and felt empowered to support each other with the therapy, as well as enjoy each other as great friends.

Nina"s inside and outside beauty and love has touched many people. I believe that she is flying high, spreading her angel wings and still shining her bright  light on us.

Nina, I am so glad that our paths have crossed in such meaningful, fun and profound ways. Thank you for having the courgeous to be who you were, and to make such a difference. You will always remain in our memories and hearts.

Love, Helene Rothschild

A bright light

October 27, 2014

As one of Nina's clients, I saw her compassion and kindness as a therapist. But it was obvious that her kindness was not just a professional trait, it was her, from her heart, from her desire to help others. She had a great joy about life and part of that joy was the other people in her life, all other people in her life. She could not be anything but connected to them and sharing of herself and her love.

Why did she have to leave? I don't know, but she will be missed.

Thank you Nina

This is my favorite picture of Nina and me. This was taken in the city last Nov or Dec., somewhere around Jeffs's birthday. Love you my little vivacious soul sister.

Nina was the first girlfriend I made when I moved to California from Montreal in 2005. We met at Z Gallery where I was working at the time. This picture was taken at Ed and Leighs home. Most of the time you'd find me in yoga pants. I remember Nina telling me when we arrived that she'd never seen me dressed up, and that I looked sexy. =) Nina really brought it out of me. Thanks Nina for helping bring my sexy back, lol.

This was taken this past summer (2014). We met in Capitola for a Billy Martini show. This was the last time I saw my friend. We had a great time, it was a beautiful day and we danced our little butts off. I miss you so much sweet heart!

Ahhh the girls! This was such a fun day. We went wine tasting in Napa, rented a lemo and had a party all the way up there and back. I love my blond & beautiful friends! Always being the only brunette never bothered me. ;) Nina loved this little red dress! She also had it in black. She said it was one of her go to's because it was so fun & flirty, easy and comfy.

Ohhhh I LOVE this picture of us! This was at Frederic's surprise 40th birthday party in 2009. Nina was a show stopper as always. Her enthusiastic energy was infectious.

Nina invited me and my friend who was visiting from France to this beach luncheon with her friends from Morgan Hill. I think we're in Capitola here. Nina was a social butterfly and had tons of circles of friends. Her ability to connect with people from all walks of life has always inspired me to do more work with women and in women's group. We discussed her dreams of public speaking and vision to write a book which we now all know she did. Bravo Nina, so proud of you for following your dreams.

This pictures was taken in SF last year in November. Our friend Serene hosted a party which landed near Jeff's birthday too. It was a lot of fun! I loved dancing and getting my groove on with Nina.

In this picture: Nina, Klaudeen and me, Jenny.
Halloween House Party in San Jose.

I was not in a good place at this time. My sister had just attempted suicide and Nina and Klaudeen encouraged me to come out for some Halloween fun. Nina was so playful and silly. She really lifted my spirit (as usual) and helped me to remember that even in my darkest hours I could still smile.

For those of you who knew her well, you know she loved to meow. I've been meowing ever since and love channeling my inner feline goddess thanks to my soul sister Nina.

"For Good"

October 17, 2014

The first time I saw Nina was in a class called HART (by Helene Rothschild) and my first thought was "Oh we have nothing in common." We have often laughed about that- oh how wrong I was. In this class we had to do therapeutic processes with each other, and it was there that I grew to know and love her. We then took a "Metaphysics" class which blew us out of the water!  We continued to work with each other for the next few years on a regular basis and discovered how powerful we were together. In recent months, we had been working on releasing attachments and old patterns. Something about us working together took us to new levels and heights we never imagined....I discovered I could easily channel and act as a medium. Our friendship blossomed into one of the most important ones in my life.We rarely went two days without talking, texting, and always knew what was going on in each other's life. If I could name one thing she taught me it would have to be "unconditional love." She loved me through everything and all that I am and was and will be-without judgement and in the most gentle and kind way.
I was honored to have been in Texas during her passing, and although very traumatic I wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else.
When I think of her now on the other side, I think of Archangel Jophiel- whose name means "the beauty of God" who sees only beauty in others. That sounds like our Nina! I am so grateful for our time together.
The song from the musical "Wicked" For Good is the one that keeps coming into my mind when I think of our angel. I love you honey and always will.
