Life is the best Gift God has given us. Death is nothing more than a bridge to eternal life with God. We, Swamikannu family sincerely regret the loss of our beloved Nirmala Suresh. It is tragic. It is painful. She was a woman of dignity and self respect till the end. She had a special attachment with Jacintha and am always thankful to her in getting Community certificate for Dinesh college admission within 2 hours. As the Canadian Priest rightly said in his sermon that, she nurtured Love to all the family members! Faith in her spiritual books! and Hope filled life till the end, without troubling anyone! May her soul Rest in Peace and pray God to give Chathura's family, Rishi and her Siblings to bear this irreparable loss. Last but not not the least "Absence makes the heart grow fonder" is absolutely true.

We , Shanthi and me pray that Nirmala is in the arms of dear Lord Jesus. He has given and taken back only to be in His glory forever. A ship sailing dissappears at the horizon from our sight. It dose not mean, the ship is lost. It is very much there. Soul also, away from our sight, but, does exists in His Glory.
I m sure all the glories of our God Almighty she penned in "Yesu Kaviyam", she is now experiencing it.
God bless her beautiful soul!

Nirmala was my colleague/friend during my days at St Michael’s Academy. I was a French Teacher between 1984 and 1989. I admired her intelligence, her passion for the beautiful Tamil language, her forthrightness, no hesitation nor fear in expressing what was in her mind. Mid 1989, I moved to Australia and lost touch with her … but still continued to hear about her accomplishments. Many thanks to her son, Rishi, through whom I was able to reconnect with her about 4 yrs ago – since then we were regularly communicating on the telephone once every few months … last time I spoke to her was about two months ago – her sudden demise came as a rude shock to me – shall sorely miss my telephone conversations with her. Rest well dear Nirmala.

Expressing our deepest condolences to the bereaved family (Rishi & Chathura family) for the sudden, unexpected tragic loss of their dear mom. It came as a rude shock for all of us. Akka was just 10 months senior to me and remember she taught me Tamil grammar in my school final year. During my annual visits to Toronto since 2014, I was in touch with her and Rishi. During her previous visit to India, accompanied her (with Shanti, my cousin) for a Sunday mass and had breakfast in a hotel. In 2017, was with her to console the demise of Suresh at a funeral home in Toronto. With tears & prayers, May her Soul rest in Peace.
