This is grandpa Wenck holding Nancylee, the first grandchild in the family. Taken 1939. My mother Ruth, the youngest of the 3 sisters, had this photo among her mementos. Email me or Facebook & I'll send you the photo for your family. One childhood memory I have is one visiting Seattle when I was around 3-4 & it snowed & Nancylee & I went out to play in the snow( yes snow) & we got into Grandpa Wencks car, parked on a hill & somehow the emergency brake got undone & as the car is rolling down the hill everyone runs out screaming & grandpa Wenck jumps headfirst into the car & with feet sticking out the window pushes the brake with a hand. With eyes huge we went in the house & they were so glad nothing bad happened we didn't get into ant trouble.
