Biography of Late Pharm Nneka Isiadinso (Nee Onuora)

March 21st,1982-November 26th ,2019.

Nneka was the first born child of Chief & Enyi ( Mrs ) Afamefuna Augustine Onuora from Onitsha in Onitsha North, Anambra State. She was born in Aba, Abia State, Nigeria on the 21st of March,1982.

She attended her nursery education at Hillview nursery/primary school Enugu. Her primary education was at the University of Nigeria Primary school, Enugu campus from 1987-1992.

After her primary education, she gained admission into Our Lord Shepherd Secondary School, Enugu from 1993-1995. Her set was the pioneer of that school and she was their First Senior Prefect. Nneka was an outstanding, brilliant child and possessed many leadership qualities.

She moved to Federal Government Girls College Onitsha in 1995 at JSS 3. It was the first time in the history of the school that they admitted a student via an external examination class. She was admitted after the guidance counsellor of the school requested for her previous school cumulative, which was exceptional. In 1997, after 2 years in that school, she again became their Senior Prefect This was another first, the first Senior Prefect who did not start from JSS 1. A great disciplinarian that she was, she was made the President of War Against Indiscipline (WAI) in the school.

From secondary school she gained admission to University of Nsukka from where she graduated in 2006 with a degree in Pharmacy.

From 2007-2008, she worked as an intern in National Hospital, Abuja. In 2009, she served her fatherland as a Youth Corp member in National Assembly Clinic Abuja.

She also worked as a volunteer Pharmacist in Global HIV/AIDS INITIATIVE-NIGERIA (GHAIN) from 2008-2009.

In 2009, she gained admission for Masters in Public Health in Kings College London. She graduated in 2010.

In her brief sojourn in the UK, she acquired her Masters degree, worked for Boots Pharmacy as a dispenser from March to November 2011 and met her heartthrob, Uchenna Isiadinso.

They got married after a whirlwind romance on 3rd December 2011 and she returned to Nigeria permanently to join her husband in 2012 after the birth of her first son [Dindu].

Nneka’s dedication to her profession continued with her working for a charity before joining Healthplus in 2014, where she worked her way up from Pharmacy Services Officer to Pharmacy Services Manager. She loved her job and the impact that she had on it each day.

Nneka took the time after work to develop herself professionally, making sure that she kept abreast of developments in her profession. She undertook various courses of private study to improve herself professionally despite the rigours of parenthood.

Despite the rigours of her career, she gave birth to her second child in 2015 and the third in May 2018. Nneka was immensely dedicated to her family, her career and friends.

Nneka was dedicated to her family and was the very definition of a homemaker, despite her hectic work life. She never tired of making sure that her family was well taken care of. She was a loving mother that took the time out to care for her three children, Dindu, Chetam and Ije; she ensured that they were well taken care of and had all the time in the world for them.

She was also a loving wife, and supported her husband, Uchenna’s career, giving both advice and moral support to him.

She will be terribly missed.
