Nolan's life, although so incredibly short, just 21 years long, was so so full. He was surrounded by a family who loved him and friends who treasured him.

In his life, Nolan brought nothing but love, joy and happiness to those around him. A life full of those things is a life well lived.

The 27th December will always be a sad day for those of us who felt a part of us die too with Nolan's departure, but we must gather strength from believing that Nolan was too pure for this world and is now in a better place, a state of eternal happiness and peace, and that we will all meet again when our time comes.

Until that day, we will honour and remember Nolan, knowing that this is not a "goodbye" but a "see you later".
