Dear Mom,
    Whatever happened between us that you would not speak to me for the last eight years of your life. I never got the chance to say goodbye. I tried so many times to reach out to you, many times in spite of being an adult with kids of my own, I still needed my mommy. My inability to reach out to you, only to be turned away, left a hole in my heart that will never heal. I never stopped loving you, and cling to the happy memories that I hold so dear. The years have gone by with many ups and downs, but, my greatest joy in life, is my 5 beautiful grandchildren. Cody as you know passed at birth, but I have Austin, Maise, Lexi, and Brodey. I am heartbroken that they will never know you, but I will make sure that they know all about you. Mom I miss you so much, and will always love you. I only hope that you love me too.
