Hi Nora So hard to believe that you left us two years ago ! There are so many times I think to myself "What would Nora think." or "I wonder what Nora would say if she knew........." Every time I spend some extra money on something, I tell you thanks because I lively would not have been able to afford it without your very generous gift. Like the absolutely fabulous gift of cataract surgery. This has made such an improvement in my vision and I no longer even need glasses for reading So, you are continuing to make a difference. Luv fae yer bruv Gordon xxxx
Hi Nora, You've been on my mind over the last few days and it's hard to believe that it was 2 years ago that you left us. I've really missed you so much and keep wishing that I could pop up to Glenwood for a chat and a coffee. However we have got lots of photos and wonderful memories.
Malissa ran a 1/2 marathon in London yesterday in memory of you and managed to raise over £1,000 for Maggies as she knew that was your favourite charity.
Hope you have a lovely day wherever you are and you are never far from our thoughts.
Hi Nora , wishing you a very Happy birthday - thinking of you today and all our happy times spent together. Do you remember Henley in the rain ? Sending hugs and love from Caroline and all xx
Happy Birthday Nora, I've been thinking about you over the last week but particularly today since it is your birthday, and I keep wishing we could meet up for a chat as I really do miss you lots. I know that Malissa really misses you so much too, and that she's going to run in the the Hackney Half Marathon in dedication to you and the Maggies Cancer Centre. Hope you have a good day today and don't forget that we all really love you so much! All our loving to you xxx

I met Nora and Billy in 1982 and we became firm friends. My eldest daughter is her God daughter , Emma-Jane Graham , who has lived in Australia for 10 years and who has just arrived in Edinburgh hoping to go and see Auntie Nora - so that’s how We just found out of her passing last year and we are so so shocked and sad and would like to offer our most Sincere condolences to you all. Nora was such a wonderful kind lady , a dear friend and confident, we had so much fun together at Glenwood ,where has the time gone ? I am so sad and sorry that we lost touch - we are sending our thoughts and prayers to Guy and all the family. All best Caroline Randerson
It is indeed very difficult to realise that one year has passed since our dearest sister departed. She will always be missed so much, as she had so much energy and so many great ideas, and she just knew how to do things effortlessly. She always made everyone welcome whenever they visited Glenwood, and everyone who knew her always admired her je ne ce quoi. We visited Glenwood on Monday 23rd on the anniversary of her passing and remembered her very fondly - oh how we miss you !!
Hard to believe that a year has passed ! On a lovely morning Lynne, Guy, Sandra, George and Gordon met in the bottom garden at Glenwood to mark Nora's passing and we remembered her and how we missed her. There's a large hole in our lives.... but we have many fond memories too. Of fun parties at Glenwood, Disney holidays, visits to Dallas and Santa Barbara, so many fab gifts and lots more.
Happy Birthday Nora, hope you have had a lovely day!! You touched so many people in your lifetime and I know that they will want to wish you a Happy Birthday too.
Thank you so much for all you did for me and Malissa and for being there whenever I needed to chat with you, as you always did so much for us. I really miss you so much and just cannot believe you have gone, as it feels like you've just gone on one of your long trips and will be back soon to drop in for a coffee and chat!
You'll always be in my thoughts. Lots of Love always to you xxx
I've had Elsie inglis, Edinburgh's most famous nurse, on my mind this week. She was an absolutely amazing person who risked so much to go all the way to Serbia and help the soldiers over there. It was at the Elsie Inglis hospital that Nora gave birth to her son Guy I remember visiting her there on that happy occasion.
