Let the memory of Nori be with us forever
  • 38 years old
  • Born on June 16, 1975 .
  • Passed away on July 23, 2013 .

This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Nori Moyoli, 38, born on June 16, 1975 and passed away on July 23, 2013. We will remember her forever.

Nori passed away with her family on July 23,  Nori fought her cancer with grace and humilty, courage and dignity. Nori was a devoted, kind, nurturing and loving mother, wife, sister and daughter.  She possessed a unique loving personality. Although taken from us too early, we thank her for all the years she gave us even through her pain and and suffering. She is our hero and inspiration.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We will be holding a family service this weekend in California.  Many of you have asked if you could send flowers or make a donation to the family.  In lieu of flowers, if you would like, we have set up a Memorial Fund to be used for an educational account for Mateo and Ilaria.

Contributions can be made to: Nori Lei Moyoli Memoral Fund, FifthThird Bank, 7580 Beechmont Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45255

Posted by Julia Ginocchio Luniewski on July 24, 2013: Last night Nori Warden Moyoli earned her wings after a two year battle with colon cancer. Her family & friends have remarked how she exuded humility, grace, strength, dignity, love & warmth until the very end. I wouldn't expect any less from this extraordinary woman. There are few people I have idolized, she was one of them. She was the type of young woman I wanted to be. Her frame was dainty, but her heart was huge. She was bright, generous, compassionate, & open minded. She came from Utah, but her life was a colorful tapestry woven with the experiences she embraced from many cultures. She had soul, and a fierce spirit. She was always up for adventure, and loved to dance! She was the fairest sister in Nigerian dance, but held her own place in the studio. Her beauty & smile drew everyone to her, but she never needed to be the center of attention. I only had one year to be in the same city with her, but the time shared has left such an impression on me. I don't remember much about high-school, but deep admiration has imprinted a stunning collage of Nori in my mind. The world would be a little less beautiful for our loss, if not for her two gorgeous children.

Nori, You have passed this test called life, and God has called you home. But that doesn't make it any easier for those of us you have left behind. We cling to the solace that you are finally free from the suffering you bore with such dignity and grace, and we cherish the memories of how you touched our lives with your loveliness and your kindness. You will remain forever in our hearts.

Nori and I met almost three years ago when our daughters attended preschool together. I always looked forward to seeing Nori's smile at pick up and drop off and enjoyed talking with her at our lunches and playdates. I missed her greatly when she wasn't able to drop Ilaria off as often and scarcely a day has gone by when I haven't thought of her. My deepest condolences. She is missed.

I thought about you often Nori, as mom's we do anything for our kid's and I know you fought to the end. Be the shining light and angel looking down on your beautiful kids, your love will never leave them. God bless you.

We came into Nori's life as she was beginning her fight with cancer. That Nori has been taken from us is a terrible tragedy. She was a loving, good, and strong woman. Her radiant smile was infectious, and she was able to persevere with grace during hard times. We know that she will watch over her family as an angel, and we pray that they will have love and healing during this time.
