My Grandma Genie...The times, we had, the time you lived in the Adult Moble Homes on Kern Canyon Rd.... we ate Peanut butter and laughed..There were other times I had no mother, and you said "missy Shell" listen your becoming a woman and you must conduct yourself as one....Love you..Sleep with the Angels...Missy Shell.....

My heart goes out to all the family. Genie was a truly a wonderful and loving person. I appreciated the time I got to spend with her and will always remember how she said she wasn't a quilter - she just put blocks together. She warmed many with her beautiful quilts and special spirit.

So many great memories with grandma Genie. No matter what it was, no matter how young or old I was, she always took time and made me feel so special and important. She taught me so many great lessons. I am so glad to have been a part of her life. She is missed.
