One night I was laying a pine floor in the basement apartment and put a screw through the oil line for the furnace. Mom said call Norman he might know what to do,  Yep he did. I called Norman and he came right down and helped me fix the spot. Two hours later I did it again.  He came again and fixed the second spot and laughed and said maybe I should stay here all night in case you do it again.  

Every memory I have of Norm is one of a very kind, gentle and patient man.. it was a pleasure to have him enter our family circle and a Damn shame he left us so early. I suspect Norm and Maggie are having a good laugh right now on all the silly mistakes I’ve made.
