It doesn't seem possible that he will be gone 5 years. My Dad is gone 12 years and Mom will be gone 11 years in June. Where does the time go? They are missed every day. Love, Trish

Dad, Thinking of you today, as I do most every day. A difficult year this year, of course, with our loss of Laura. I can only hope and pray that you are taking good care of my baby and that she is happy in your arms. She always loved you so, so much ... as did the rest of us. Your photo sits right next to her at home. Miss you. Love, Jim (Your favorite son)

Dad, You continue to be a most wonderful part of all of our lives...even 4 years gone. Just yesterday, Ryan was talking about how to recreate the Seth Green rig...you know, like the one of yours that he tried many times to decimate! We love and miss you! Love, Kathy

Hi Unc, Had a thoroughly enjoyable lunch with four of your favorite girls. Mary Beth & I met with Judy, Kathy, Marilyn & Sue on August 3rd. So many memories and stories were exchanged. I'm sure you and my Mom and Dad were looking down and and smiling at it all.

The Lakeside restaurant on Keuka now has a burger called.... "MAKE IT A FREEMAN"! How bout that for a tribute?

Hi Dad. Three years now, you're away but never gone. We think of you always. Ryan and Craig were just talking about a lesson you gave them on boat batteries, which ended with 'and just don't drop it on your foot!'. That certainly sounds like one you would have told them. We miss you Dad. Love, Kathy, Chuck, Ryan & Craig.

I guess you have always been my favorite Valentine !! Even though there were times we disagreed, you were always my mentor and you were always there for me. You always had a smile on your face when I would enter the room, happy to see me, unconditionally. You taught us, patiently, to snow ski, water ski, drive, change tires and oil on our cars and you always helped me with my shorthand and encouraged me to take typing saying it would benefit me for years to come. I miss you so much. You would have been 95 today. So Happy Birthday and Happy Valentines Day, Love you so much, Marilyn

Happy Birthday Dad! You're with us always in so many thoughts. Our growing family is adding another baby girl to your long list of great grandchildren! Mom is doing fine and being well taken care of, I know you worried about leaving her. Marilyn and Gary are the best and moving her to sunny warm Florida was a terrific decision you made! I love you Dad! Happy Valentine's Day, too. You were my first big crush!!!

Dad, It's two years ago today that you left us. So many times when I am doing something, I think to myself, "I hope Dad would be happy with or proud of what I am doing", or "I wish Dad could be here to enjoy this with me (or us)". Even so, I still feel that you ARE right there...Miss you every day. Love you, Jim.

I can't believe it is two years since his passing. It is eight years since my Mom has gone. I'm sure your Dad, my Mom, and the rest of their siblings are playing cards around a big table and enjoying being together again. Love, Trish

Happy Birthday Grandpa Norm. You are missed. Love, Mark
Posted by Sue Zupko on 19th January 2014
Obviously Norm and my father were very close. "Do you think the rain will hurt the rhubarb? Not if it's in the can," was my father's saying as well. It is still being passed on to our children and grandchildren. I remember Mr. Freeman as a fun-loving guy. We were often at the Freeman's home. We would travel there in all kinds of weather for our parents to play cards. I remember him playing with a race-track he had set up in the basement. Then there were the fishing trips and visits to cabins together. Water-skiing. We had so much fun together in all we did. The friendship he and Alice had with my parents, Bill and Della Kell, will live on forever in my heart. I spoke with Mr. Freeman a couple of years ago and he sounded as vital as when I was a youngster. I'll bet he is having a joyous reunion in the Eternities with my parents. For my part, I will cherish fond memories of times spent together.

I miss you and love you so much Granpo. I wish you never would have to pass away, but I guess everybody must go at some time. I thank God every day that I was able to see you and spend time with you before you passed away. I show everyone all kinds of pictures of you, just to let them know I have the cutest Grandpa ever. In those couple of days, I saw you suffering so I thank God he took your pain away. Your in a much better place now, and I am very thankful to have someone as amazing as you watching over me now.

Aunt Alice & All- Heartache & loss now, but, (Uncle) Norm will never really be gone. Death can't take our memories away. "To live in the hearts of those we leave behind, is to live forever." Symbolic candles lit - flame flickered but will never go out. On behalf of the Walczaks, we're thinking of you with lots of love & sympathy, Always - Cindy

Dear Alice, Lynn, Gary I am having an awful lot of trouble writing this as I am crying so hard. As I look at the photo gallery, I am transported back to our years on Keuka Lake and the wonderful memories we created from the groundbreaking of our homes to the fun we had in them. I will treasure them forever and the good fortune I had to be able to share so much with "Norm and Alice".

What an amazing legacy left by a great man. I have so many wonderful memories of Uncle Bob from learning to ski at Carson lake to bringing my kids to Keuka lake and waterskiing. His generation was unlike any other-He witnessed so many advances from the first TV to men walking on the moon. May he rest in peace knowing that his memory will live on through the great memories of his family

To Judy, Jim and family: Very sorry to hear the news about your father. No matter how old we are, or they are, it's terribly hard to loose a parent. My thoughts are with you.
Posted by Jim Freeman on 4th September 2013
Dad, you have been the most influential man in my life. I will always have the best memories of our lives together. I knew this day would come where you would not be with us, and I will now have a void in my heart. But, my memories will carry me forward. The strong character, love, integrity, humor, and many other great characteristics you had will live on in me. I will love you always.

Alice & Family: Thank you for sharing Norm with us here in the old neighborhood. He was a special person: Kind, Generous, and a Fine example of Husband, Father, and Friend. The family has been often thought of with fond memories. May the Peace of God be with all in the Freeman family in your time of sorrow. Vic/Mary Ball-Tom/Donna Wimmer

Although it has been a number of years since I have seen you, I still have such fond memories of the Freeman family. Norman was especially the best for chauffeuring around all of Kathy's girlfriends and I was lucky enough to be one of them. May you rest in peace, Mr. F. You will be remembered in my prayers. Sympathy to all of your family.
