Novie Louise Mullendore was born in Munford, Alabama on March 6, 1916.  When she was a small child, the family moved to Anniston, where Novie would remain for her entire life. 
In 1936, she married Richard Jackson Medders (1908 - 1975) of Weaver, Alabama.  They would go on to have 5 children (Sandra Ellen Moore, Thomas Charles Medders, Mary Ann Pinheiro, David Edward Medders and Kenneth Alan Medders), 9 grandchildren (Tina Gunter, Bryan Moore, Jennifer Campbell, Cynthia White, Angela Pomi, Mark Pinheiro, Kim Parker, David Medders, Jr. and Brandon Medders) and numerous great grandchildren.  Novie was a longtime member of Noble Street Baptist church.  She will be missed by all who love her.
