Little Miss Heaven Nyla Joanna Simone Brooks, the daughter of Joy Antonette Brooks and William Blackman was born November 6, 2011 in Valley, Alabama.
 

Heaven was like a little princess/diva. She would always put a smile on everybody’s face and was a delight to everyone who came in contact with her. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Fannie Brooks and Ruby Madden. Heaven departed this life on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 in Birmingham, Alabama.
 

Her survivors include: her loving and devoted mother, Joy A. Brooks, Lanett, AL; father, William Blackman, Chicago, IL; brother and best friend, Zion Brooks; grandmother, Theresa Chester, Montgomery, AL; great-grandmother, Linda Chester; aunts, Angela (Kancherla, Sr.) Williams, Tymesha Madden, Rebecca Madden and Tarkara Madden all of Valley, Alabama, Linda Levi, Prattville, AL, Sharron Blackman, Montgomery, AL, Deborah Chester, Anita Chester, Theresa Blackman and Tiffany Chester all of Chicago, IL; uncles, Shavario D.
