The Day Good Took You Home

Broken Chain

We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly, and in death we do the same.

It broker our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you the day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our Guide,
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.

Our Family chain is broken, and nothing else seems the same,

But as God calls us one by one,

This chain will link again.

Your birth date brings mixed emotions, Oby. Maybe it's becoz on that day a legend was born, but also becoz I realise that we can never celebrate your birthday together.

I thank God for bringing you into my life, for all the jokes and teasing and just having you as a friend.

Today Marks the day when God needed another angel in Heaven.

monsterpops, corky taai koppie...eish the list in endless....en dies wat naar maak moet round slaat daar onder wat dit warm is...we know our stale jokes Oby and now nobody else gets it lol....if only I can hear your voice one more time

I looked up at the stars last night, and thought about heaven, maybe they aren’t stars after all, but rather openings in heaven where the love of those who have passed on seeps through and shines on us. There were a million stars there last night and I know you shining down on us.
