Got the courage to come here today as I realise  it's another November...I thought of you as usual. Still like a dream bro....
Several times, I've wanted to pick your brain on life's issues....

You were the best option of a big brother, since we didnt have any. You loved us and we loved you right back. Your mum called mine "Oni Ochuko" - Ochuko's mummy....

Thank you for EVERYTHING Ochuko.

Remembered you from UNIBEN, great bloke, left an impression even then. We competed fairly, 30 years after, still remember those classic. Rest in Peace, life isn't about numbers but impact. Glad you made an impact but wished I saw you after graduation

Never met you in person but you used to sound nice and down to earth whenever we talk on the phone, was actually looking forward to meet you... It was a rude shock for me when I heard about your death RIP Mr James Ochuko may God comfort your wife and children amen

Mentoring was natural for you, you gave me my first Job, I still cant forget your phone call. And the converstions we had over the years how you constantly and coonsistently told me I could go beyond my limits and that my gender was not an issue..... I still am short of words sir.

I remember a day in 1986 in fgc ogbomoso, I was on my way to the dinning hall running along with my toilet bag tucked in between my armpit and my culinary set wharehoused in it.senior ochuko called me and asked if that was not a cutlerry set and I set yes.he now sort to know why it was in a toilet bag and I laughed because up until that moment I didn't know it was a toilet bag.
He laughed also and went his way.A senior worthy of emulation.Adieu to a great mind.

You were my role model, you made me dream

December 4, 2015

Uncle Ochuko was my role model, a great inspiration and huge blessing to me. He gave me my first corporate job and then my first car at my own terms, even when he had his friend willing to pay higher; he chose to give the car to me almost for free! Uncle Ochuko’s generosity was unparalleled! With his excellent way of living, he inspired me to dream and influenced my values, and how far I have come today. My first trip to the abroad was because of his encouragement, same for my academic and career progression. He was always there for me to look unto as a role model and inspiration. I will miss him so much for his selfless and uncommon perspective to life, a great man with a beautiful soul.

Rest in peace, my dearest Uncle.
