I am always thoughtful of my friend during these days of remembrance. Having a love one leave you in life is a heavy burden because you always have this thought in your mind that you could have done better for them. I worked and became a member of his family through our long friendship. His devotion to his family is unfathomable. Miss my buddy and think of him daily. Bless his family and my god-daughter for their strength in these passing days. God is good and everlasting. Praise the Lord.

I will never forget your wet kisses, your cards for every birthday and holiday. I will never forget your neatness and ironically the "flatus". I will remember our times. I will see you again.

Amber,
I know that it has been a long time since your Dad has been 100 percent but you know God doesn't make mistakes. He blesses us with this short time on earth so that someday we will be with him in paradise with no more pain, hurt or sorrow. May the blessings be with you and your family through this sorrowful but glorious time because now your father is flying high with the angels in the sky. He is looking down on us saying "if only you could see me now". Stay Blessed

I am so sorry to hear that my brother has gone on to glory. It has been a long trip for him and his family. I worked and played with Odis for many years. They honored me by naming me one of the God Fathers for his daughter, Amber. It has been a pleasure to be considered in that way. Odis left a legacy also in his work with the veterans of foreign wars organizations. We will miss you brother Ward. RIP, my brother. We will miss you. All the best to your family.

The very first time we met I must admit that I was more than nervous. I had no idea what to expect, I didn't know wether or not you were going to approve of me or not. But you did, and not only did you approve of me you showed me nothing but love and respect. I remember the first time we rode in your Lincoln as Amber drove us around. That was the first time in my life that I had stepped foot in an Elks lodge "thanks to you*. I just remember the amount of respect that your fellow brothers showed you as soon as that door swung open and you walked in. And within the first 30 seconds of being in the lodge u had everyone around laughing. Another one of my favorite memories of you is when you let your grandson Khaliel, a.k.a. (Bud) play outside in the rain when you visited us in Atlanta. Dad we didn't spend as much time together as I would have liked us to, but I enjoyed every moment that I was able to be in the presence of a man of your class. You have traveled a long journey and did your duties that the Lord had for you to do here on earth and now the Lord has called you home to be at peace. You will forever be missed. You are loved and respected by many. Love you Dad. From Tom.

Sending my sincerest condolences to my good friend and former coworker, Amber, and your family. You always spoke so lovingly about your dad and sometimes I felt like I knew him myself. I know you are thankful for all the great memories. I give thanks that we have a Creator who comforts our hearts during times like these. God bless you.
