Psalm 23
The LORD is my shepherd,
I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
He restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.
Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
You prepare a table before
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD

                                                      GOD IT HURTS

I said 'God it hurts'
And God said 'I Know'
I said 'God I cry alot'
And God said 'That's why I gave you tears'
I said 'God I get so depressed'
And God said 'That why I gave you sunshine'
I said God I feel Alone'
And God said 'That's why I gave you loved ones'
I said 'God my loved one is dead'
And God said'I watched mine nailed to the cross'
I said God 'Where are they? '
And God said 'Mine is on my right and yours is in the light.
I said 'God it hurts'
And God said 'I know'

I went to see you today, and the tears still fill my eyes. Although I am sad you are not physically here, I know you are able to do a lot more for everyone, while you are up above, with the rest of the angels. Thank you for continuing being the friend that I need, in my times of trial, and tribulations. You give me signs to never give up, and always give me your smiling support. And when I'm really down, how that one particular song, always seems to play on the radio, that makes me think of you, and smile. Always on my mind. Forever in my heart. Love you, Eric!

"Fly me up to where you are beyond the distant star, I wish upon tonight to see you smile. If only for a while to know you're there, a breath away is not far, to where you are." (-Josh Groban-) As much as I think of you, I MISS you. There's not a day that goes by, that I'm not reminded of you. This day, still brings tears to my eyes, re-breaks my heart every year, and takes my breath away. Until my last days, it always will. I long for the day we meet again, My Dearest Eric. With ALL of me, I LOVE and MISS you!

There's not a day that doesn't go by that I don't think of you, Eric. Its been 2 years and I'm still shedding tears. You are one of the GREATEST friends I've ever had in my life! You are the true meaning of sincerity, love, loyalty, laughter and trust. I still can hear you laugh. I still can see your smile. I still can feel you near. I love and miss you!

Eric....I miss you brother. I can't believe your gone. You were always there for me and never hesitated when anybody needed help. I wish I could turn back the clock so that I could see you again. It hurts knowing I can't talk to you. Love and miss you bro.

It seems so incredible to think that you have been gone for three months now. I know it has been so difficult for your parents, brothers, sister and friends to have lost you. I know that you are in God's glory and are no longer in any pain. You are in my mind and will always be in my mind.

Throughout life you meet wonderful people, I had the privilege to have met Eric. He was my next door neighbor and friend. He and I would talk for hours, but it would only take a minute for anyone to know how special he was. I'm never going to forget his contagious laughter, and witty sense of humor. I will keep the memories deep in my heart, thank you Eric. Love you!

Eric was an amazing person. Not only as a family member but as a friend. Anyone who knew him would agree that he was always more than willing to give a helping hand. He was proud to be a police officer. His memory will live with us forever.
