His Life

BIOGRAPHY

January 3, 2019

Snr. Apostle  (Dr) Oladele Gabriel Oladipo was born on the 10th of October, 1955 to the family of Late Pa Johnson Oladipo  (A.k.a.lgbalaye) and Late Dorcas Obisesan Oladipo of lgbaye street in Ilesa East Local Government, Osun state, Nigeria.

He attended Katcha Baptist primary school in Niger state between 1961 and 1967, where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate. He had to leave his parents in Katcha, Niger state, to stay with his maternal Uncle for his Secondary school education. He attended African Grammar school, Oka-Akoko in Ondo state of Nigeria between 1969 and 1973.

Having left school in 1973, he went to join his father, Pa Johnson Oladipo, who as at that time had relocated to Ibadan, Oyo State. Due to Divine programming of Snr. Apostle Oladele Oladipo's life, he could not further his education and he had to learn a craft.

He learnt the craft of making furniture under the tutelage of Mr Isaac Odeyemi and gained his freedom in 1976. While learning the craft, he exhibited some traits that endeared him to his Master and their Customers. This made it easier for him to excel when he started his own business in 1978 with his friend, Mr Bode Aluko. God really blessed him and within a shortest period of time, he became the toast of Furniture making in Ibadan, Oyo State. However, God had a different purpose for his life. In 1979, he received  a Divine call to serve him when he was in a trance for seven(7) days. Snr.  Apostle Oladele Oladipo instantly became an Oracle of God by prophesying and evangelizing.

He also fell into trance three more times in the same year for seven (7)days , fourteen (14) days and seven (7) days respectively. The period marked the beginning of his sojourn in the Vineyard of God. God later commanded him to leave his work and follow him, just the way our Lord Jesus Christ called Peter Simon to be a Fisher of men.

But he found it difficult to obey due to the fame and fortune his craft had brought him not knowing that Divine call brings more fame and fortune. He continued to combine his earthly work with the heavenly call.

In 1983, he got married to Mrs Arike Esther Oladipo of blessed memory; and the union was blessed with three (3) children.

He later got married to Ms Olasunkanmi Rosemary and the union was blessed with two (2) children. Unfortunately, his marriage to Ms Olasunkanmi Rosemary hit a rock over twelve(12) years ago due to some irreconcilable differences. And since then, he lived alone. Despite the marital setbacks, he diligently carried on with his spiritual assignments.

In 1985, he was asked to go to Warri to plant a parish of Cherubim and Seraphim of Society. This put an end to the struggle between him and God, for he had no option than to yield to God's purpose for his life, that is, to be full time Minister of God. However, after about three (3) to four (4) years, the church that sent him to Warri abandoned him.

He contemplated relocating back to Ibadan but God instructed him to stay in Warri. He hearkened to the Divine instructions and continued to propagate the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, setting the captives free, healing the sick, giving hope to the hopeless, barrens becoming fruitful,  poor becoming rich and greatly depopulating the kingdom of the devil - all these to the glory of The Almighty God.

In view of his great exploits for God, on the 28th April, 2007, he was given an honorary title of Doctor of Divinity by Acts University of Theology,  Pisgah forest, NC, United States of America.  Also, through the help of God, he was able to build a Cathedral for God and he was almost completing his residence beside the church when he was called to glory.

He was a compassionate person. He lived a selfless life to the extent of discomforting himself for others. He was a bridge builder.

In January 2018, he called his first son, his younger brother and few close friends informing them that he was tired of staying in Warri and had resolved to relocate to Ilesa, his home town. It came as a surprise not knowing that it was a premonition of his final departure to be with the Lord.

Though his death was untimely, God's time is the best. He lived a fulfilled life. He is survived by Children, Uncles, Aunties, Brothers, Sisters, Daughter-in-law, Cousins and Members of his church.

May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace till resurrection morn when we shall meet to part no more.

Adieu!
