LIFE IS ALL ABOUT IMPACT

LIFE IS ALL ABOUT IMPACT

It’s very hurting for me to discuss daddy in the past .So many character traits attracted him to me. The first one was his smartness, very athletic in movement .You would never see him walking clumsily .He climbed the stairs faster than most youths. I remembered telling him that I would want to be athletic and agile like him when I got to his age.

Daddy Adenola was one who could not stand the slightest discord among pastors. Whenever he noticed the slightest differences among pastors, he would go any length to resolve it. He has at most times commissioned me to resolve one or more issues that could affect our relationship as pastors.

Daddy was also a silent giver. Most of his giving were done without any fuss .I quite remember the day he came to our parish , he lovedour microphones , enquired of the cost ,he gave me money to buysome and instructed me to give them to a particular parish anonymously . That was the kind of man daddy was.

Daddy Adenola was consumed with the passion to see everyone productively engaged. He was the brain behind a lot of us receiving trainings at EDC, Samonda, Ibadan which qualified most of us to access Federal Government Intervention Loans.

Daddy as the men’s leader organized several empowerment training programs at regional level. At one of such programs he gave my wife an opportunity to be one of the key facilitators. Very support to Women Empowerment. A tireless, humble and unassuming leader indeed.

Daddy Adenola thought me how to be calm in the face of extreme provocation or even when hurt deeply. I live to cherish him.

Thank you daddy for being a good father, a mentor and apracticing Christian. Thank you for making lasting impact on our lives. You will forever be remembered by me. Good night sir.   Pastor Okechukwu & Pastor Lanrewaju Nwankwo

I first met Pastor Adenola in 1968 when I was in a relationship with his sister Abike. He was visiting his friend, Mr. Dehinbo at Olorunsogo, Mushin, Lagos. He accepted me immediately as if he had known me for years. When I married his sister in April 1969, the relationship became much more cordial.

Pastor Adenola was a nice and kind hearted person. He was a good husband, father, grandfather, brother-in-law and friend. He will be sorely missed. May God grant his soul eternal rest in the bosom of the Lord. May God grant his family the fortitude to bear his loss. Amen.
