Olawale, by big brother, I can't believe it's been 10 years since you slipped away from us on that fateful day to your everlasting rest. It has been sad to not have you here, because we loved and appreciated your physical presence in our lives and the joy you brought, but we understand that it was your time to leave. God has been faithful, and has kept Tokunbo, Ayomikin and Bukunmi. They have been seeing the goodness of God, every single day. Rest on Bro, until we meet again.

9 years already!!! Keep resting in the bosom of the Lord. You were a rare breed among men, compassionate and kind. You went far and above to help others. You made sacrifices to ensure others were ok. Till we meet at the feet of Jesus beloved. Your memory lingers on.

Uncle Wale,

How are you doing? Still dancing nonstop? Gosh, do you see what a mess the world is right now? We would have discussed all of this ad infinitum…

Anywho, how’s heaven? How’s Abba? Who do you roll with? Abraham? Or Paul?

Miss you here…but you are in a better place so it’s the world’s loss really… There’s so much to say but I guess we’ll have all the time in the world (or should that be out of the world ) when we meet again.

Continue to rest in peace.

Dad,

Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you but I remember you especially today, we would’ve been celebrating another year of life but now I take this day to just reflect on the legacy you left behind. You are the greatest man I have ever known and in the short time you were here with us you were a perfect example of a man, the way you loved and rejoiced in all situations are lessons I hold onto dearly. We spoke of many milestones that we never imagined you wouldn’t be here for but I know you are watching from above. I forever feel your presence within me and find solace in knowing we will one day meet again.

You’re my inspiration. Love you daddy.

It has been 8 years that you chose the glory of our heavenly Father over this chaotic world; you chose well, my darling husband. Even though, I still miss you every day, I understand why you are no longer here physically; I actually envy you, and pray that I make it to where you are when my time is up. Keep having a rollicking good time! Love you always.

Like a dream, it's been 8 years Big Brother that you left us. The pain of losing a saint is the only consolation we have. The thought of you being in heaven is our hope of not losing you. Heaven indeed gained a saint. You're forever missed brother Wale. Continue to rest in the bosom of the Almighty God.

Pastor Wale, I pray you continue to dance in the presence of the Lord.  My first connection to you was with your dancing steps.  I noticed how you will come to church every Sunday and  dance during church service,  with your face beaming with smile and how the smile will continue even when you are packing the chairs and sleeping  the rug after the service.  Pls contnue to dance in honour of the most high God in heavenly places. Rest on Pastor.

These pictures were taken after Wale's passing. We had arranged to go to the studio to take them a few years back, so that we could have professional family portraits, but we kept putting it off until it was too late. We, therefore, had to ask for Wale to be grafted into this portrait. Whatever you can do now, do not postpone or procrastinate.

Pastor Wale not just a church brother but was a dear friend to my husband and me. We also enjoyed a great business and community relationship together as I acted as his Accountant during the life cycle of Crystal Wash Services. Before embarking on his business he was the office manager at e-consulting limited an IT company managed by my husband and me.

Pastor Wale and I were jointly appointed to co-ordinate the youth ministry of CDM International a big experience for us, challenging but fun and we thank God that all those youths we worked with have turned out really well and we give God the glory. Even after leaving the ministry some of the youth whom have all married Pastor Wale was a great mentor to them.

We were also both appointed to provide operational support to a small charity set up by CDM International to assist the under-priviledged, the fun times we shared working on this project brought both our families very close together until he passed away. From about 2000 to 2007 every time we had a family function we always asked him to co-ordinate some aspects of the event and he always rose to the task. He was a great person that you could rely on to do everything you assigned to him.

Pastor Wale was a go getter, extremely hardworking and I am sure nobody can replace the detail he put into ironing all my native materials, he packaged them well for me that sometimes after 3 years they wre still in impeccable condition. I personally will surely miss a great man, a dedicated selfless and fun loving character. Pastor Wale your death was a shock to me but I have the peace within me that you are with our Lord Jesus Christ watching over us all.

You were beautiful inwardly and outwardly. May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace. For a young person you have gone through all the seasons and my prayer is that God will keep the family and the void you have left Holy Spirit will fill it.
