 Emma was born on 18th if December at Chch public hospital, she wasnt due until mid Janurary so she was a special christmas surprise to Charles, Mary and her older brother Mark. She was a gorgeous wee baby girl, a very bright bubbly baby, she always had a smile on her face.


Throughout her school years she was very diligent, she wasnt so keen on the academic side of school but she knuckled down and passed with good grades. Her real passion was netball, and she spent many hours practising with her team mates, as well as coaching a jounior team when she was at high school.
In her last year of school she did an exchange and lived in Brazil for 6 months, she absolutely loved it and this sparked the travel bug in her.

After finishing high school she attended the college of travel and tourism where she completed her diploma in hotel management, she landed a great job in wellington and made the move to work in a prestigious hotel as assistant manager. She would phone us and rave about her flatmates and the wellington nightlife, she really had a ball and loved living in wellington city.

After working and living in wellington she decided it was time for her to go on her OE so she set off to London, she found a job in a hotel and worked throughout the winter saving for the summer when she travelled around all of Europe with two australians that she lived with (who were also living in London on their OE), she explained this time travelling as th
