Her Life

It is with great sorrow that the family of Olive Jean Bamford (Reardon) announces her peaceful passing on March 13, 2005 at 81 years of age in Abbotsford. Her daughters Marion and Ann, and son Stephen were at her side, offering comfort and love.
Olive was the beloved daughter of the late Katherine and Harry Reardon of London, Ontario. Left to mourn her passing are her children Peter (Eleanora), Marion, Ann (Brent), Barbara (Stefan), Stephen (Kay), David (Susan) and 12 grandchildren, who were guided by her love. Olive also leaves her sister Catherine (Frank) who she loved so dearly and many nieces and nephews living in Canada, Australia and the UK. She so enjoyed her special relationship with her long-time friend Sister Gertrude Murphy of St. John.
Olive was a Registered Nurse and worked in a number of hospitals and care facilities in London, Victoria, Burnaby, Chilliwack and Mission during her 40 year career. She had a love of crafts, particularly miniatures, but her greatest joy was her relationship with her children. Our peace with her passing comes from the knowledge that she is with Jesus.
Memorial Mass will be held in Victoria and London at a later date.
First our Mother,
Forever our Friend.
