Happy New Year Mom: Am just going to go thru the pictures on your site again. I am so glad that Tony set it up for us. Well 7 years have gone by so quickly. I know you are probably all up there partying together and wood shedding with the barber shoppers. Tony has a farm now and they love living there only about 8 min. from the Erin Home . The boys are all getting big now and again they are still playing hockey. Andrea and Rob are fine and they got a new kitten Talk again soon. Miss you  xo

The other day while looking through my mother's old photos, I noticed that so many include Olive and Ken and Helen and Gordon Thurston- they were all such good friends for so long. All of them are missed so very much by those of us who are left behind. My mother's 100th Birthday is coming up on November 13th. We were so hoping she could make it one more year , but it was not to be. I hope they all will be having a bang up celebration up there over the rainbow.

It sad but also feels good to take a moment and remember my grandmother (Gigi). She still remains my inspiration on how to live life. I will go through the pictures with kids tonight. xo

Hi Mom: Happy B'day again.  The years go by so fast now. Brenden is in his last year of High School. All 3 of the boys are still in hockey. We lost Uncle Gary this year and I am sure you two are up there telling everyone Newfie jokes. Andrea has moved from the island to White Rock and she is closer to Zoe now.  Love you and miss you. xo

Well last month your good buddy Helene Thurston passed away. Her daughter Pat called me to say that she thinks her Mom is happy now and that you are all there now together having cocktail parties and gab fests and so on, I have just been looking at the memorial pics and it is shocking how many people have passed. Love to you all...Arlene xo

Well 100 today - imagine - hard to believe - we lost Auntie Ina this past year. I bet you are all up there celebrating your big b'day. Dad and Uncle Bert regaling you with fishing stories. We also lost Jean Hay to the awful disease of Cancer. Not fair I know. We are all well here so will talk again soon. Love you  xo

Well Mom another year has gone by. I miss you a lot still. We lost Warren Adamson recently. You might remember him from the old days. He worked with Dad on the political campaign (when Dad passed away).

Aunt Olive was one of a kind. Her intelligence, sense of humour, and beauty could fill any room. I will always remember our wonderful summers spent at Craig's Lake6 in the Laurentians together. Her memory will stay in my heart forever.
