It just doesn't compute that you are gone.

Life is indeed a gift, here today and gone tomorrow. It's definitely not how long but the impact and memories we leave.

Funmi, I couldn’t have ever imagined that I would be writing a tribute for you this soon. You were always there for everyone.

Doting on everyone and making everyone happy. Your warmth, smiles and friendly disposition was second to none. You were extremely good - natured and very down -to -earth.

Even when I missed your birthdays, you always remembered mine and never forgot to call. I could go on and on about your exemplary life. Funmi, your kind is rare.

When my Mum told me I prayed so hard that it would be a lie or that she would get to yours and find out you had woken up.

I haven’t stopped playing the last voice note you sent to me. Funmi you will be sorely missed. GOD called his daughter home , we may never know why but we trust his ways.

I pray GOD’s peace for your husband... for Daddy, Mummy, Bro Femi and Seun.

Funmi❤️,
I never thought I’d write this anytime soon but I owe it to the world to keep memories of you alive.
You were a shining light. Your presence lit every room and couldn’t be hidden.
You just knew how best to cheer one on even on gloomy days.
Your mezzo-suprano was heavenly. I doubt if I’d ever hear anyone drop the musical notes like you did.
I’d miss you terribly and I can’t wait to give you gists when we hook up again.
Till then, rest in power like the queen you are.
You’re forever loved and forever missed.
