Biography of Olufunmilayo Temitope George-Gbadebo

Olufunmilayo Temitope George -Gbadebo was born on the 14th of November 1977 at Lagos University Teaching Hospital , (LUTH)  Idi-araba, Lagos to her parents, Mr Akinwunmi Olanrewaju George and Mrs Olufunke Ayodeji Olanrewaju George. 
Funmi was a descendant of the prominent families of James George of Campos Square and Chief David Oluwole Akinpelu-Johnson of Bamgbose Street Lagos
For her primary level education, she attended St John’s Private School, Palmgrove Lagos and University of Lagos Staff School, Akoka, Lagos.
She moved on to Lagos State Model College Igbo-kuta, Ikorodu from 1990 – 1995 where she completed her Secondary education. Whilst there, she formed great friendships which transited beyond the walls of the school. 
After secondary school, she embarked on a few professional courses and thereafter secured admission into Lagos State University, where she studied to studied Electrical and Computer Engineering at Bachelor’s degree level from 1998 – 2004.
Between 2004 – 2008 , Olufunmilayo took on various employment stints with Aira Technologies Victoria Island, Zinox Technolgies and Manifold Computers, Lagos Nigeria.
She then proceeded to the Heriot- Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland, UK for her Master’s degree program in Information Technology between 2008 - 2009.
She returned to Nigeria in 2011, she worked for Avila Consultancy Nigeria Ltd and later moved on to take over her Mother’s Cold Food & Fish Mongering business, Olu – George & Co which she successfully managed until her demise.
Olufunmilayo met her heartthrob Oluwatoyin Gbadebo in 2002 and they became friends. The friendship blossomed and they were joined in holy matrimony on 8th September 2015. 
Olufunmilayo was raised in a Christian home, where Jesus Christ was the focus, and the importance of strong family values was imbibed in her. She wholeheartedly loved to worship and dance. 
Olufunmilayo was an active member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, pioneer member of Social Media Group of RCCG GWC and a volunteer member of LIFEWAY MEDIA in Redemption Camp Lagos Ibadan Expressway. And recently, she attended Elevation Church Mainland, (Pistis Hub) 
Always vibrant, loveable, Funmilayo left a part of herself in everyone and everywhere. Love for humanity and family was at the heart of everything she accomplished. She was selfless and believed everyone deserved her attention. Olufunmilayo was our song, our centre, our inspiration, our motive to rise above challenges, our mother hen, the love of our lives, she was many things to many people but most of all, our FG for life!
Besides her parents, siblings and family, Funmi was loved and adored by all who knew or came in contact with her. 
Funmi will be sadly missed by her parents, her loving husband, Toyin, her brother, Femi & Ibukun and sister, Seun including all her numerous Aunties, Uncles, Cousins, Nephews, Nieces, friends and business associates.
