Olujimi Omolola Ogunleye was born on February 26, 1977 in Ibadan, Nigeria to Mr. and Mrs. Bisi and Sade Ogunleye from Ogun State, Nigeria. Jimi was the last child of his parents.
Olujimi, fondly nicknamed "Jimkoko" by family and friends, attended Aikoje playgroup at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria before proceeding to Staff School, University of Ibadan for his primary education. He attended Methodist Grammar School, Bodija, Ibadan for his secondary education and proceeded to the Polytechnic, Ibadan for his HND in Marketing and Ladoke Akintola University for his MBA program.
Jimi is survived by his wife - Lawunmi Ogunleye, son - Olayiwola and daughter -Bukola.
He is also survived by his sister - Folake Ogunleye-Awe, his aged parents, extended family and friends who love him dearly.
Jimi was such a fun-loving and jolly soul with charming dimples.
