The news of your demise had left me speechless.
All I remember of you was your beautiful smile during my Wedding ceremony eight years ago and how well you danced during my Mum's retirement program.
Heaven gained you....and that is a great consolation for me.
Rest on Ma.
You will always be remembered.

We love to have you continually here with us, Sis. Kemi Odediran. We prayed you pulled through. I met your husband at the 108th NBC in Session, and it appears as if it was the only time in my entire life of meeting you and your husband, that I met him alone without you around him. I vehemently refused thoughts that crossed my mind, that afternoon. You had a golden heart and and your impact was immense. We lost you to your Master and Savior, who promised us to be of good cheers because He has overcome the world. I will personally miss you big sis. God’s strength for you sir @Rev Gabriel Odediran

Pastor Mrs was a wonderful person attested to, by those who were close to her. She was an exemplary Christian, a lover of the word. She was a jovial, open-minded and unbiased person. She had true passion for Service and evangelism. The love and support she gave to Daddy in their Ministry was second to none and it is glaring her mother-hen role would surely be missed. May the good Lord grant her gentle soul sweet eternal rest and give Daddy, children, families and the church the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. AMEN. Adieu ma

TRIBUTE TO A GREAT WOMAN OF GOD
Your death came as a rude shock to me. I knew you from my childhood as someone who had passion for God's work. During my service year at Offa, I enjoyed your hospitality and words of encouragement. You were a woman of God indeed and You lived an exemplary life.
I love you but God loves you most. Rest on in the bossom of your Saviour.
Good night Aunty Kemi

       TRIBUTE IN HONOUR OF
      REV. MRS. BOLA ODEDIRAN

HOW ARE THE MIGHTY FALLEN!

The news of this great beloved sister came to us as a huge shock!

The enviable quality of her short life showed her as a woman of promise, a woman of passion, a patient mother, and a promising pastor of the Nigerian Baptist Convention!.

We are grateful unto God for the short and meaningful life she lived. She was so passionate in the ministry of the church, in leading the people of God,  she indeed cared for the welfare of her family and in upholding the hands of her husband in the ministry. Even at the Convention level, she demonstrated the love and passion she had for the Nigerian Baptist Convention family, thereby sustaining her heritage. She had helped in expanding  our legacies to the nooks and crannies of our region.

She was a passionate woman of God, whose heartbeat was always about the extension of God’s kingdom to the whole world. She was a woman of faith, and a woman of vision. She was a unique and dynamic woman who was highly determined to fulfil the commission of Christ. She was one of the rarest woman pastor in our society who is very concerned in doing the will of God with the mind of Christ.

No doubt, we have lost a dear gem in our generation and denomination. Although, it is a precious earthly loss, it is always a heavenly gain. It is our sure anchor that our sister and lover has gone to be with the Lord and so nothing is missing, even when we talk about the vacuum she has left in the family, in the ministry and Christendom as a whole, God has a way and God will make the way and so we believe that God will continue to be God and be faithful in the midst of our challenges.

On behalf of Osun Baptist Conference, we commiserate with Rev. Dr. A.G. Odediran and the children. We pray the Lord will comfort and uphold you in all your ways.

We further encourage our dear man of God, Rev. Dr. A.G Odediran to take solace in God, we encourage the children that the future is brighter for them, we encourage the church to be comforted and we pray for the entire Kwara Baptist Conference and Osun Baptist Conference that the good Lord will be our guide and comfort in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

President, Osun Baptist Conference

The news of your demise, to me is still incredible, but who are we to query God? He does that which pleases Him, 'UNQUESTIONABLE FATHER'. We hold unto your words, 'A little while and ye shall not see me and again, a little while and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father'. Without gainsaying, you have gone ahead of us to be with our Father. May HE count us worthy of His glorious kingdom.
To my brother and children, the grace of ALMIGHTY God will grant you the fortitude to bear this. We love you but God loves you more.

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His Saints Psalm 116: 15
It's true that death hurts because it separates us from people we love dearly. Your death came as a shock to us but we have taken solace in the word of the Lord that says God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in Him (1 Thessalonians 4: 14) . However, we will forever remain grateful for your hospitality and support towards us during my doctoral graduation at ECWA, November 2019. Your hospitality is second to none. Though death has taken you away, your memories and impact remain fresh in our hearts. Rest in perfect peace Beloved servant of God.

Fading away like the stars of the morning,
Losing their light in the glorious sun----
Thus would we pass from the earth and its toiling,
Only remembered by what we have done.

Only remembered, only remembered,
Only remembered by what we have done ;
Thus would we pass from the earth and its toiling,
Only remembered by what we have done.

2 Shall we be missed, though by others
succeeded, [time have sown ?
Reaping the fields we in spring-
Yes, but the sowers must pass from their labours,
Ever remembered by what they have done.

3 Only the truth that in life we have spoken,
Only the seed that on earth we have sown ;
These shall pass onward when we are forgotten,
Fruits of the harvest and what we have done.

4 Oh, when the Saviour shall make up His jewels,
When the bright crowns of rejoicing are won,
Then shall His weary and faithful disciples
All be remembered by what they have done.

Rest on Mummy Odediran, forever is your memory in my ❤️❣️....I miss u ma

AN EPITOME OF MOTHERHOOD AND DISCIPLINE HAS GONE TO REST.

If cries of men could bring you back, obviously you would be alive by now, If the prayers of the saints could wake you, there's no doubt that you would have been back here with us just a second after your sleep but it pleases God to grant you an eternal leave even when we thought we need you most but WHO ARE WE TO QUESTION GOD?

Tribute to a woman of faith and focus
I really still find it difficult to believe you are gone. I don't want to write this, at least not now. How I wish I could stop people from writing Mum? Your death came to me as a shock, my heart bled when I heard about your demise and still bleeds. If only tears could bring you back to life, honestly you would have woken up by now. But who am I to question God?
Mummy when you texted me to keep an eye on Covenant, to keep praying for you and ended it with this prayer "Ari ara layo ooo" I just replied with amen casually as it never crossed my mind that we may never see again. O ma se oooo, iku doro, omu eni ire lo.
I kept on wondering how you were able to be a mother to numerous people and not just a mother but a good one at that. I even have a good news for you but I was only waiting for you to return haaaaaaa it is well!
A mother like no other, you were a great leader, a motivator,an encourager, a teacher of the word, a manager, a great business woman, a supporter of good things, an overseer, a counselor, a builder of homes, a great adviser just to mention a few. Your legacies and memory will linger in my heart forever.
Abiyamo too to, you came to this world briefly, you fought well and ran the race set before you. Mummy you really conquered death. Even with the little time you spent here on earth, you have impacted many lives. You were a backbone to your husband and that I learnt from you.
What a pity! Words really failed me as I wish to go on and on to describe an exemplary mother. You shouldn't be mourned but celebrated! When I heard what you went through on the sick bed, then I'm happy you have gone to rest with your Maker.
My consolation is that a righteous one does not die but changes address.
Mummy keep on resting at the bosom of the Lord Jesus till we meet to part no more.

So painful to mourn a great woman of God who was committed to the Kingdom's work. She was faithful to the end even on sick bed, she was still devoted to God's work. She was so industrious in distribution of Christian Resources to train, teach, and impact lives. We will miss her forever but the legacies are there to speak forth. May Almighty God comfort all of us...Rev Dr & Mrs Joseph O. Afoiabi, Baptist Building, Ibadan

Goodnight to God's child.
She was there as sent by her Maker. She fought the fight of faith and we believe that God helped her. She is gone now! Her work on this side of eternity finished! We believe that she will rise again. Family, weep no more! We shall meet again.

So short of words to describe the person of our dearly beloved mummy. We thank God for your life of contribution to the many lives you have impacted. It's such a great loss to us but a great gain to heaven. Good night God's handmaiden. Till we meet to part no more. Adieu

"I have some literatures for some churches in Ilorin, when are you going back?"....." I want you to be part of the teenagers' ministry, we need you there"....." Pls can you think of any interesting program for the teenagers this year, something that will linger in their minds for a long time? "
That is the voice of a virtuous woman as described in Proverbs
I remembered vividly the last time we interacted, you told me you were not too strong, but you've been advised to REST.
I never know that you were indirectly talking about ETERNAL REST with our Almighty God, the Author and the Finisher of our faith.
Mummy, continue to enjoy yourself in that BLISSFUL REST.

THREE THINGS, you taught me:
* Availing oneself when called upon
* Consistently working for God
* Hussling to be useful to self, family and the society.
But glory be to God in heaven,
you made it.

How he touched my life.

The day I heard that you had passed on was the day that I lost a small piece of my heart and the moment I realized that you were no longer with us was the one when I discovered that one of the most important persons in my life was gone forever.
It has been said that as a general rule of thumb, there are at least five persons that one would meet during the course of their life that would have a lasting impact on them and for me the late Reverend Mrs Oluwakemi Oluwafunmilayo Odediran was one of these. This soft, gentle and peace loving woman was unique. I will never forget you and I will always do my best to live up to your expectations. I promise to keep on fighting the good fight.
Thank you for having allowed me to be part of your life and for having come into mine.
MAY UR SOUL CONTINUE TO REST IN PERFECT PEACE MUMMY ODEDIRAN. WE LOVE YOU BUT GOD LOVE YOU MORE THAN US. REST ON MUMMY.

When I first saw your ordination picture on daddy's page. It didn't suggest anything on the contrary to me, I almost add my usual comment of Supercool but for the comment that came in when I was about to post my comment that read good night. Very shocking and unexpected but who are we to ponder on what God permits. You impacted the world with the investment of your personalities and my family is a testimony to that as that thought you and Rev Dr Odediran(hubby)shared with us after our wedding still fresh in our heart. You happened to be the pioneer "Iya mission" of my church(United Baptist Church Ejigbo Osun State) and you influenced all that their path crosses yours. I guess not how long but how well. Farewell to a woman from God that has the grace to turn grass to gold. Adieu

Mummy the news of your demise was a great shock to me on Saturday 8th May,2021. But our God remains unquestionable. Thank God for the life well lived. Mummy and Daddy you're my mortal Messiah. You gave me peaceful home to lived in when my family was on fire.
You came into my life as parents when I lost hope of parenting, that fateful day you invited me to you house and told me, you want to be my parent. I accepted with joy because it was answer to prayers.
You shown me the perfect example of Godly home.
You shown me the me in me.
You shown me the real commitment to God.
You shown me pathway of righteousness.
You taught me hope in hopelessness.
You taught me to trust God for and in everything.
You taught me confidence that was what made you to be my confidant. Though, there are a lot to discuss mummy but channel has become indirect henceforth.
You're the definition of:
faith,
selfless,
Sacrificial giving,
Love of God and humanity,
Great counsellor,
Prayer warrior,
Virtuous woman.
Rest on mummy in the bosom of God, whom you had served faithfully.

MISSED A LABOURER
Sister Kemi as I fondly called you. We did not only miss you as co-labourer in God's vineyard, but your immediate family and friends also will miss your labouring spirit. I can't quickly forget how we laboured together in 1993/94 at BSF Federal Polytechnic Ilaro to advance God's kingdom. So I can't see you again until resurrection day. Great lover ever smiling. You are not dead but asleep waiting to wake up to receive your crown of righteousness. We take solace together with your husband and children. Good bye Sister Kemi.

I still can't believe you are gone mummy, when I came for siwes at the church office, the very first day I saw you, the way you relate with me, it was as if we've known each other for so long, and I said to myself... this is nothing but a good example and a good leader every woman should follow.
Those advise you gave out to me then on how to be a good and diligent Secretary are still working for me. Though,I know it's peaceful in paradise, we're pained you had to leave us this soon.

What can I say?, How do I present a tribute about you particularly when that has to come after your demise? Death you are wicked. You have denied us a virtue that is not common.
I never could imagine that you would leave so soon being detached from Bolakemi. You were very supportive of the ministry of your husband even before your wedding. You were great in mobilising people to the ministry of your husband.
You were committed to every assignment given to you. I remember your dedication to prayer committee of Ejigbo Baptist Association.
You were such a good encourager.
I have a light knowledge about you though, but enough to write a book about you.
We have already started missing you. My wife and I will miss your love, cheerful and warm pleasantries we used to enjoy whenever we met.
I pray for Dr. Bola Odediran whose Kemi has been taken from him temporarily, God will supply him the fortitude to bear the great loss. Holy Spirit shall be by your side and whisper to you always.
I wish to commiserate with the children too that the Lord will be their mother and give them motherly care in Jesus name.
Our consolation stands on the fact that we will join you and be United forever you in the presence of God our Father.

Mummy, it is a pill that is bitter to swallow that you are gone. It's our earnest desire that you will return from the sickness and come out more strongly. It is disheartened that death snatched you away from us. You came, fought and conquered. You finished your race strongly & with Joy and that is the solace we have that you only went home to be with your Maker. Mummy Oluwakemi, you were full of strength and possessed a beautiful heart. I keep on imagining where you got such energy to serve God? You were a motivator, a teacher, a counselor, an administrator per excellence, you were a manager of numerous things. You were never tired of serving the Lord, Oh how we wish God allow you to spend longer time with us.(Tears...) You were a talent that could not be replaced. You were a rare gem. An Epitome of a godly character. You are going to be missed forever no doubt about that. Youth fellowship FBC Offa will greatly miss you. Your legacies and memory shall ever be green in our heart. Rest on in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ till we meet to part no more our dear and loved Mummy Oluwakemi Olufunmilayo Odediran.

What can I do?

I don't even know what to do. The fact that you are no more with me is still a dream. How can I cope with life and children?
I'm playing a superman until few days ago that I know that any other alternative can never be like you.
I'm now afraid of those that appear as alternatives. They look like sources of pain rather than joy. Some of them argue over everything thing which you will never do. They complain and nag; seeking undue attention.
Oh Lord, please help me.
The ministry, my children, my health, my ...... Oh my God!
Please, help me Holy Spirit because I'm at a crossroads.

"Pp, please help me call Dn...., and Sis ..... becauseI want them to know themselves. E ma je ki eni eleni ko je gbese o."
Even in her pains, she was putting everything in order. She payed what she was owing and mention those owing her. She put her house in order before she went to meet her Saviour.
A woman of vision, rest on!
